Oh my goodness! I love him! π he’s so pretty! π
Thank you! No comparison to yours, Kaytana, but I’m working on it. π
Oh I dunno! Those are some darn nice wolves you’ve got π
Thanks Guys! π She’s my lil brat! lol π but also my pride and joy!
On a different note, Mel, the Mt Lions, are you just planning on doing them production right off? (I really want a Mt Lion colored one – When they release, no rush! My wallet could use some recoup time! haha)
We’ve got a bunch of cougars cast, so I will paint them soon in normal mt.lion color. We also got a bunch of bat eared foxes cast. I’m gonna paint in real bat-eared fox color.
Looking forward to both of those! π
Very nice! That’s a cool way you did the wings like a sunrise!
Thank you! π
The new wolf pack:
That is one handsome pack! π

I’m glad this was avoided and things went on as a happy normal day! It’s scary to think some people just plain aren’t right in the head and can do such things!
If Mel decides to move forward with a Brindle batch of wolves… I would be absolutely head over heels for one done like my baby girl, Kilala π (A Dutch Shepherd)
The dark reddish brown that is on the Odd Ball Red Foxes (the ones without grey) with black would make for the ideal color mix for her, and copper eyes! π
Great pics !! Anyone else have brindle dog (or whatever) pics to post? I could use references.
Thanks! π if you want/need more of her, let me know and I can email a few to you, I love taking her photo! Lol π

Thanks guys! π Man I really do wish I could just pass this wolf around for everyone to see XD lol! The photos just don’t grab the vibrancy at all, lol.. She was a lot of fun to paint (not that I ever really dislike painting anything, lol) and I had a blast working with these colors! I may work with this color scheme again soon π I have a bit of that dark purple left.. I’m just trying to pick a choose wisely, as once that purple is gone, it is gone! haha…
I do have a classified ad up for her right now, if anyone is interested π I didn’t plan on having a wolf up for sale among the wolfy madness, but I giggled when it all worked out for it, lol! So here is a fantasy wolf for those who hoped for fantasy GB’s? ;p hehe!
My latest finished piece π
This Winged Wolf was based off Sunrise (Sunset?) colors! and photos will never do this one full justice! π
She is painted in metallic purples, pinks and a touch of peachy orange.. though her darkest shade of purple will sometimes show a more blue tint than purple, depending on lighting/angle…
The paints were mixed with Pearl Ex, the purple has an especially high dose so she has a certain sparkle that my camera tried to pick up in the direct sunlight photos, it’s *almost* like having Windstones magic paint mixed into the color… (I don’t know if I could duplicate the mix of the purples if I wanted to! lol)
Nearly her whole body is dry brushed (black base) with the darkest purple.. with highlights here and there in brighter shades… and the wings just glow of an early morning Sunrise casting pinks and purples onto the clouds! All that remained black is her black mask, and a lil bit of her wings, her wings where it remained black got a coat of a hematite black, to represent what would be left of a night sky πShe is finished in a satin clear coat, which as my boyfriend put it “Makes her shine!” It really brings out the richness of the colors on her π
Currently the blue eyes are just set in, I really like them myself, but I figure when she finds a buyer, I’ll give them the option of blue or if they would like to try something else π I like that they stand out, without taking attention away from the rest of herFebruary 13, 2015 at 12:28 am in reply to: Screen Printing / Vector Files / Half Tonight? Helllp! XD #925645For a screen printer you could probably get away with a layered tif at the right size, a color on each layer, but it depends on the company. Logos ought to be done with a vector program to start with, because now that’s been made in Photoshop and they want an EPS, you’re going to be pulling your hair out, even if you had Illustrator to Livetrace it with.
Do you have any gradients in your file or is it all solid blocks of color? Can you throw it up on an image share site and link me to it so I can see it?
Currently it’s been more playing with the features I want in the design (I’ve done stupid looking test pieces) so that I can get a better understanding on how to make the original without making it a PAIN to convert, lol (or more-so of a pain than it already will be) – I want to get to the point that I start in Vectors, but for now I’ve gotten a gist of how to trace into a vector and then tweak that.. I’m planning on getting the design done up in Photoshop in the next couple of days (My deadline thankfully did extend by about a week! *Phew!*) So when I have that part done, I’ll show you π I’ve just come to the conclusion that I may have to go back and change my original, but I’ll be able to better explain and possibly find the solution with the original already done (I hope that makes sense, lol!)
It’s interesting when you see pictures of a piece and it just doesn’t excite you or make you want the piece, but when you get one in your hands, in person and then it’s true love.
I was on the fence about the wolves. Skipped the first batch. Wasn’t too excited about this one. Thought the ivory was okay. Nice even. And then, if we ordered, we’d get a special Valentine Fuzzy, oh boy! Love Fuzzies..just HAVE to have one, so I hit the order button for a GB wolf. Well, thank you Fuzzy. I love this sculpt. π
I am unable to take pics, but I got a tri-color masked wolf with gold eyes and soft brown spots. She is gorgeous. Thanks for listening to my ramble. π Hopefully, I can snag an ivory one before they sell out.
Heh, I understand π When I first saw them I knew I was going to like them, but when I got them in person on the first batch, it went from liked to absolute love – They’ve been one of my fave Windstone sculpt’s since! Which is impressive from a dragon fan π hehe – I’m glad you got one! Sounds like a pretty lil one too!
Oh, So happy I got one of the rich brown ones! Even more surprised that I got one of my top picks (for as top pick as I could get from the store photo, lol!) This is the lil one that is at the very top of the store photo (Details match up exactly right) – Sorry Prairie! π Though yours is quite stunning as well!! Seeing your gorgeous one made me super nervous to get mine cause I wanted one close to yours! lol π
I wish I could get the details to photograph on this one, it’s quite amazing π There is a touch of brown on the top of the muzzle (not completely covered in black) and the lil white cheeks!!
