Ooooooohhhhhh.. Ok! It’s kind of cute :). I hope everything works out with the seller. With the new feedback stuff going around, you’d think the person would make it right by you.

This is Jeff and I after a long day riding around in his Gigantic Ford Ranger…. fondly known as Mini Bertha 🙂 (sadly, not pictured… maybe somewhere else I will)
Eating lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp in Hawaii
A couple friends and I getting ready to go out for the night… I’m on the far left 🙂
A quick one snapped with my phone of me and Jeff
May seem like a silly question but…. What the heck is a “dog?”
Needing more eggs is not a good sign… less chance for me to win something. 🙁
hahaha.. that’s cute, I’ve never seen something like that before.

It’s hard for a lot of people who work there… mainly when an animal needs to be put down. It’s difficult to realize that they are going to a better place because they are too ill. But no one who works there has a stone heart, that’s for sure!

Yay Peg! It’s so hard to pay off debt. That’s a great thing to be proud of.Not to mention, it’s hard to live without your second half. Especially when you’ve got a little one running around.

Did you click the link yet? 😛Hoofer look at this one: Very nice…click click.
Antares
And this one.
You’re putting wwaaaay too much temptation into my hands… Those are gorgeous!!
I’m proud that I can help people at work. I work at a Vet clinic.. I’m always helping people with their dogs or cats. Occasionally we get a reptile.. which is my specialty. I’ve been there so long that I’m knowledgeable enough to offer more comfort and support when clients need it. I also get to have a hand in life-saving surgeries and treatments.
I pet-sit on top of working full-time. It makes me feel good that I can help families spend more time together on vacation. A bonus for them is not worrying about their beloved pet(s) while they are gone.
I’ve also been helping my parents remodel the house. My dad has had two detached retinas (One in each eye). So he doesn’t see as well as he used to.. and my mom isn’t very physical, so it’s hard for her to do any physical labor. I’ve been painting and moving heavy furniture for the past several weeks. And there’s much more to come!
One more thing… I’m proud of my boyfriend. He works so hard every single day of his life. And he never complains when something bad or unfortunate happens to him. He just takes it in stride and hopes for a better day. He’s an awesome person and I’m glad that one day I’ll spend the rest of my life with him 🙂
Sappy time over! lol
Hey Phoenix! Looks great. That takes talent to organize something like that. I commend you!
There’s just one problem…. We need Black Pegasus to have MORE SQUEAKS! 🙂
I am Sooooo down for raffles. Like Phoenix, I never win anything. But I always enjoy the chance. And if I ever DO win something? I probably won’t be alive (due to excitement) to enjoy the piece :).
Plus, it’s very generous of Melody, as many other members have said.
Yes to raffles!! 🙂

OMG love final fantasy… My fave is FFX 🙂

So you’re the one who beat me! Haha.. that’s ok. I’m probably better off. Glad the peg is going to a good home!
Hoofer wrote:joshmo4evr wrote:Boo.. the seller claims they don’t smoke. And is very disbelieving about the way they arrived (because she double boxed them). However, she put all of them (a grand unicorn, male peg, mother peg, and baby peg) in one box. Each wrapped in one layer of bubble wrap. The the one box was placed in a bigger box surrounded by newspaper and more bubble wrap.
I think she misunderstood the “double box” method.
She’s also not very happy with me… and I’m trying to be understanding. Hopefully she can be too.
That was you that won those? That was a great deal, provided they had arrived safely.
I was actually wondering about them the other day, whether or not they were received in good order or not.
I have a Male Pegasus that is nearly identical to how yours broke, but he was in his own box during that trip.
Considering that yours were all together in one box, I am amazed that none of the others received damage.
Note to Kyrin: I was waiting until your list got smaller. 8)
I agree, I was amazed that the others came out in good shape. Other than the broken one, the deal was awesome 🙂
Kyrin wrote:joshmo4evr wrote:pegasi1978 wrote:Send her the photo of the male pegasus that’s for sure. 😕 One layer of bubble wrap is not enough to cushion that many pieces. Good luck working things out.
I meant to send a photo as well, I just forgot. I’ll send it when she replies back.
Yeah, pictures say it all, and with pieces like that, each one should have its own box, then those boxes get put in one, and then that box get double boxed.
She can’t disbelieve you when she sees the result.
Also, tell her you only want a partial refund, just enough to pay to have the pegasus repaired, if you aren’t demanding the whole thing back, she may just work with you.
If you need me to, I can work up a rough estimate on a letterhead for you to show her, I’ll have to guess at shipping, but I’m thinking it would be $15 each way, so $30 in shipping, plus repair fees.
Let me know if you would like that, and I can get that for you…it should also help with insurance, they just might be willing to give you the repair charges, but without the estimate they might give you the money for the peg, but demand him in return, and I hate it when they do that. Throwing it away is just not right…he’s savable.
Let me know what happens and if you need an estimate.
Kyrin
Well she took care of it for me. Her nose was bent a little out of shape when I mentioned something about smoke. But that wasn’t the big deal. After I sent a picture, she offered to reimburse me for that single piece. I asked for $70 because it was practically mint before she sent it to me (and ebay listings have ended in an average of $90)… and I figured I had room to come down. She didn’t even question, just sent the money. I feel a bit guilty now, but she asked me to send it back to her too.
So I don’t get my pegasus that I wanted and she’s out a bit of money.
I just hope I was fair in asking for that much back.. 😕
