This dragon is painted in the same colors as the “Fire” Phoenix, so I named him “Fire” also. He has a red Swarovski gem in his forehead and Metallic Gold eyes. He was done as a gift for a friend around Christmas.
I am calling this one “Deep Ocean”. He is painted in metallic and semi-metallic paints, given details in interference Pearl and metallic Pearl paints. He has a Swarovski crystal in his tail in “Moonlit”, which is bascially a clear gem with a slight bluish glow. His eyes are Metallic Teal. He has some filigree done on his horns in interference Pearl that is mostly visible in indirect light. I’ve been working on him in between working on other pieces, and he’s finally done 🙂 He will be for sale in the classifieds – please PM me if you’re interested!

Golden Retarder is my favorite, though you can’t use a ton of it in paints or they will never dry. Still, the amount that I use when mixing paints is always perfect for me – it takes the thickest paints and thins them out to a nice, creamy texture that’s not too watery. 🙂
