I shall squeak too, because otherwise drag0n may just come over and snatch mine! 😆

Wow, thanks to all of you for the numerous responses and offers! And thank you, Nam, for the compliment. 😳 I honestly didn’t expect this.
As a general info: Most folks are inquiring about layaway, which as I mentioned above is absolutely no problem. However, I don’t want to ship anything in November or December. Last year the Peacock OW I sold was shipped in mid-November and in early 2010 finally declared lost. Thank goodness I was dealing with a very kind and patient Windstoner (who did get her money back, just so you know). But that’s a risk I don’t want to take again, so I won’t be shipping between Halloween and Epiphany 2011.
So you can plan your layaway installments around that – or give me permission to hold the dragons until 2011. Hope you all understand.
    Thanks!

Hi, Swoltanski. I’m breaking up my Spectral collection, and my Rainbow Riser and both Emerald Spectrals are for sale. Feel free to check out the thread here in the Flea Market section. 😉

Whee, good news, Wolfen! Congrats on finding the place and moving to more space. Space is good; more space is better. Do post pics!

in reply to: What is your favorite brand of chocolate? #816217

Having lived across the hill from the Lindt chocolate factory most of my life, how can I suggest anything else? Though I have to add that Cailler milk chocolate is excellent, Sprüngli handmade chocolates are fabulous and the cheap-o “Budget” brand from Switzerland’s biggest grocery chain is surprisingly good. But for pure variety, Lindt takes the cake. Their latest creation with caramel and salt is a dream.
I don’t like Cadbury’s, and while Hershey’s isn’t much of a chocolate I do enjoy it for being a taste of America. 😀

Ditto! I really like the way the sconce looks in peacock.

The only advice I can give is to fix your eyes on the future. If you’ve got something to look forward to days go by ridiculously fast and problems don’t seem so big. The big thing to anticipate would be, of course, getting your own place, but in the mean time, even looking forward to something little like a special lunch or an evening walk or a movie can help keep your sprits up. The system tends to work for me…

Interesting. Thanks, Pam. (Didn’t see your post before mine or I could have read it myself. Sorry. 😳 )

Can’t say I liked that pinkish Olimpia OW at all, but it sure seems plenty of other people did. :nea:

Oooooh! *big smile*. Really, really pretty – both of them.

Looks great. And yeah, those eyes fit him perfectly.

I really don’t like the cat in the photo Phoenix posted.
And the “Albino Siamese” – that’s not a real albino, seeing as how it has blue eyes, is it?

Oh my, Leigha. “Big hugs” and “hang in there” have been repeated so often they’re starting to grow mold but I’m not sure what else to say. I have an extra bed, but you’d have to take your classes in Switzerland… Is it impossible to move now, or just impractical because you’re going to move anyway after fall?

Quite, even though it was funny to see him pop into the picture just long enough to make a nuisance of himself and leave again. 😆
