It’s finale finished! Koishii did an amazing job on the stripes! at certain angles they seem to disappear 😀 he has just a light dusting of rainbow sparkle finish just enough to give a little extra sparkle when he’s in the sunlight :3 I also used a vss golden/orangish sapphire for his tail gem 😀

It’s very well painted and I think that matters to be honest. I’d say between $150 to $175 ish personally.

I agree I also think that if one of those got onto ebay the chances that the price goes higher then the commission value are really strong!

No, no flooding now.
I wonder what the hold up is? There is a bunch of Keepers sitting out there… not sure about the others.

Ok, there is a cart full of Keepers, and they are casting Kirins, but I don’t see any little dragon PYOs.

That is so wierd. I went to a paint place asking for sparkle paint and the guy told me I cant use automotive paint on gypsum because it would destroy the gypsum. :/

and you don’t need a heavy cote 😀 a dusting will work perfectly for giving that extra shine. I found on lighter pieces if you spray to much it kinda makes white look yellowish

I forget to take progress photos as I painted! I’m sorry :/ Well the steps I took after getting the base done where 1 dry brush a dusting of pearl white 2 start dry brushing my warm highlight colors 3 details.

Any ways I don’t have a name for this guy yet :^ I can’t really think of one. I hope you guys like him 😀

Any automotive store will sell it. I get a lot of my odd paints from my local NAAPA auto parts. The sparkle paint and the color shifting paints are sold there.

This is my latest dragon I have started. I thought it might be helpful to post pictures to show others what I usually start with. I use a airbrush for mostly all of my pieces because it helps to give my a type of color map and allows for a natural antique look. After this little one has time to fully dry I will star dry brushing more colors on 😀 I’ll take photos as I go 😀

Good Luck . I like him , but I can’t afford him this month . Having a broke month again . Need to get my mom a day bed next month .

Money seems to be tight everywhere even though on the news they say the economy is getting better :/

I’m surprised that no one has bid on this one – yet 😉 . Your beauties always seem to fly. But it seems like most people are holding off and PYOs aren’t the hot thing right now. One reason I haven’t bothered selling any of my stuff for a while. Hopefully people will be more willing to spend when they start getting their tax returns.

Thats what I was thinking. I try not to use ebay but I wanted to test the market you know. With the last piece koishii and I put up there was an issue with the images not showing up in the search so with that one I can’t say it’s a good view on where the market is at but with this little dragon it seems to be a good indicator that the market isn’t where it used to be :/

LIH IS very happy since Bloom is sitting on my desk right now! 😀

He/She (I can’t decide) is absolutely lovely and I am crazy about him/her!

Though, let me tell you, I was very intimidated when grayfire proposed this trade!!! But I’ve been working hard and I’m very happy with how my part of the trade is shaping up.

I’m really excited I can’t wait to see what you do! XD I’m thrilled you like Bloom so much 😀
