Together for all of the reasons stated above.

I didn’t want to hijack this thread. I agree that a vaccine–any medicine–that has been shown to have dangerous and common side effects, such as this one, should be pulled (whether for human or animal). I am by no means contradicting the fact that THIS vaccine is dangerous.
However, I am not uneducated about the topic and I am quite up to date. Vaccine side effects, in general, are rare–far rarer than the original diseases. I have a BS in microbiology and a PhD in molecular/cancer biology to back up my opinion. And I wouldn’t bother to voice my opinion if it only affected those who choose not to vaccinate. But it affects all of us–a recent resurgence of whooping cough puts both babies who are too young for vaccination (about half of which at least need hospitalization, and sometimes die from it) and older children, pregnant women, and even some adults at risk as their earlier immunizations are less effective over time and those who are unimmunized pass it along.
My family and i don’t get vaccines for ourselves or our pets after hearing and reading about a lot of negative side effects of vaccines and people and pets getting ill or dying from them. They also can contain dangerous ingredients like mercury otherwise know as thimerosal in vaccines. We have always been healthy without vaccines and having dozens of pets throughout the years without vaccines, have never had any contract serious illnesses or diseases either.
Bad side effects for vaccines are rare (with a VERY few exceptions, such as this one). Far rarer than illness and death in the absence of being vaccinated. Not being vaccinated isn’t just a risk to you, but to everyone around you, especially those with compromised immune systems, such as children, the elderly, pregnant women, cancer patients, and transplant patients. I won’t say any more other than your information is outdated and inaccurate.
Congratulations to the both of you!
Of course, I’ve had 2 opportunities to get better pics than I had for the contest since entries closed. 😛
Oh, and that was my cat on my head. She jumped up there after hopping in the draining tub. She figured it was as good a spot as any to dry her feet.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the barn swallow coloration, but this is simply breathtaking.
I got too busy to get any eggs past day three, so if anyone has spares or wants to breed some 2nd gen… 😀
Check your PMs.
I can’t seem to catch anything. I missed Saturday’s drop and only have 1 copper from yesterday (thanks again briteblades). Hope I can catch something later today.
I grabbed the copper. Thanks, briteblades!
Thanks! I picked up two and have them influenced, already.
Also, by the way, the dark part is actually a dark dark purple, not a glossy black.
I really love the pebbles. Could you use just a gem in a hole left in the bottom? Or a tack of some sort? Or maybe you can use a vibratory tumbler?
I believe you about being difficult to paint. I’d be happy with unpainted ones, especially the sculpts that I don’t yet have. However, it might limit the number that people would want to purchase. Perhaps the tea/ink staining that someone mentioned?
I’m sorry things are so hard right now. They will get better. In the meanwhile, don’t let him rule your life–or your boys’ lives. He’s the one who decided he wasn’t strong enough to be a good person–he shouldn’t now have the power to rule over you from afar. If it seems wrong what he’s doing, it’s because it is. You can’t be a doormat and he can’t leave you destitute. It doesn’t matter what he thinks he wants to pay for or not–don’t take his word for it. There are lots of us here to listen if you need it. Don’t be afraid to let us know if you do.
