Kyrin and drag0nfeathers are both skilled at fixing pretty much anything. There are probably others who could do it but these are the 2 people I know about.
Nabbed a pair, thanks LIH!
I don’t like tags but I only take them off the small sculpts. On the small guys it’s hard to tuck it under and then it often make them wobble so off it goes. The big ones they don’t impact much so I just leave them. I don’t think I’ll be changing my methods but I definitely won’t miss the tags.
I’ve been there too. The only that has been keeping me from going there now is everyone here.
pm’d you
I’m guilty of playing pokemon too. I’m trying to collect them all 😛 The games (not the spin off ones though)that is. It’s surprising how many “closet” pokemon players there are. Look at the silver lining playing video games with your kids makes you a cool mom.
Sending good thoughts your way.
I sent out a bunch of red branches.
I have a Valentine Dragon for you guys. It’s the original one.
Claim my eggs/hatchlings!You just have to get plants suitable for a 3-4 month growing season and can handle the occasional chilly day. Many of our flowers and other plants that need a little longer growing season are bought from green houses so they are mature for mid summer. Since we have to start over each spring(except perennials that come back on their own) plants tend not reach some of the sprawling sizes that they can in the lands of eternal Spring/Summer.
By the way, if you have 2 of a certain holiday dragon/hatchi/egg, you can only hold an egg that you’ve bred for that same breed for half an hour for trading purposes.
Actually if the egg is in an active transfer it will stick around until the transfer is picked up or expires (for holidays 24 hours) whichever is first
Cool! Good to know.
Same here, unpleasant but business as usual! :~
I may be Canadian bred, born and raised, but I seriously dislike Winter!
Me too. Canadian and I don’t like winter or snow for the most part especially shoveling snow.
On the news today they were blaming us(Alberta) and Texas for making the storm. I’m guessing that our nasty little cold snap we had last week must have made it’s way out east and picked a fight. The wind chill was so high(-40C) I actually refused to go to work(I usually suck it up and go snow or shine). One of the only things worse than extreme cold is extreme wind chill.
Right now we’re in faux spring. It isn’t really spring it just seems like it. Next week it could be -20C. Last week we had 2 days with wind chill of -30C to -45C. Just before and just after the temperature was hovering around the freezing mark. Usually we don’t plant till May even if there’s no snow on the ground cause we have a tendency to get random snowfalls and roller coaster weather dipping below freezing till about mid May. Our average seasons are as follows: 6 months winter(mid Oct – mid Apr), 2 months spring(mid Apr – mid Jun), 2 months Summer(mid Jun – mid Aug), and 2 months fall (mid Aug – mid Oct). Welcome to Edmonton, Alberta!
Here’s some hatchlings for you guys:

goneIf anyone manages to catch CB Tri-Horn Wyvern, Blusang Lindwurm, or Stripe eggs I would love to trade you for them.
Kyrlon’s 18k gold leafing pen is about as close to the horn’s plating as you’re going to get. I don’t know how when it would work on the horn, on it’s own or as a touch up, as I’ve only used it for accents. They also make silver and copper leafing pens as well. And since kylon’s pens are leafing pens instead of paint pens the finished look is a plated one.
When I made one I made a hook so it was removable. Fish hook style earrings also make good charms.
With 3d printing, the computer scans the item then reproduces is with a 3d printer. I think some 3d printers cut it out of a block of say Styrofoam using a laser. Others build it up in layers kind like adding adhesive to layer after layer of powder. I was watch a program the other day where this car company cut 3d prototypes out of styrofoam using a laser. I think they were cutting car parts to make molds or something like that.
To use 3d printing to enlarge the horns you probably have to find a company who uses a medium suitable for making a mold afterwards. But it could work as long as it’s not too expensive.
January 30, 2013 at 5:48 pm in reply to: Really? … and I thought 2012 was bad. My apologies, I need to rant! #892496The insurance company is coming tomorrow to take photos, but they said and I quote “you should have just left it all alone until we got there to properly ascertain the actual damage. Now you probably made it worse and may have jeopardized your ability to collect any or all repair costs”
Really? I guess we should have left 3 inches of steaming water to soak into the walls, baseboard, and floor until it seeped even more into the basement. By now we could have had our own indoor skating rink complete with tranquil poisonous mold forest. What a bunch of jerks.
While I can understand them not wanting you to touch it…Wow! They almost sound like they’re already looking for a way out. When our roof leaked our insurance company was at our house asap, and sent in demo people, fans, and eventually a dehumidifier in to try to dry things out as quickly as possible to minimize damage. And they were stretched so thin due to hail and flooding that they had to import insurance people to answer all the claims. The rest of it was slow going but they wasted no time on the damage control part. Hopefully yours comes through for you.
