Only one person needs a magi in order to do a trade. If the person you’re trading with has on then you don’t need one unless you are sending them an egg in a one way trade.
Click the Windstone banner at the top of the page and it will take you to the home page. I never log out so it is definitely not required to view the main page.
One of the things from the updates that I like is you don’t have to haunt the special section at all to see what going into it. They all show up on the main page.
Whjat is this??
It’s a Garden Dragon. It originally was going to be released as a concrete dragon. There was a discusion a while back on whether it should be release as a stone finish or if she should be smoothed out. I don’t think Melody ever mention what she had decided to do with her.
My cans of Liquitex spray paint say that they water based on the back of the can so they’re Windstone safe. I bought them cause they’re artist grade acrylic spray paint(not cheap though). The cans have pretty much the same quality of paint as the bottle/tubes it’s just aerosolized. Now I just need to get up the nerve to use them on something other than a test scrap of leather…
I think they used the up the remaining PYO horns in the last batch so it could be a long time till we see more PYO uni’s.
Here’s the link to the horn status page: Horn Shortages
Hey, I haven’t painted a PYO piece yet, but if the Gypsum soaks up paint as much as it seems to by the comments I’ve read, I probably will feel more comfortable painting a base coat. As a few mentioned, the color I use would depends upon what my color scheme will be – light or dark.
QUESTION:
I have an idea I would like to try and wanted to know if anyone else has tried this…. Ever try using one of the Krylon Color Master, or Montana Gold Acrylic spray paints as a base coat? I read that the Gypsum needs to ‘breath’ and would these allow this?I haven’t spray painted on PYO’s yet but I plan on trying Liquitex Spray paints one of these days. For breathablility you just need to make sure the paint is acrylic/water based. Oil and solvent based paints are the ones gypsum doesn’t like.
Caught 2 eggs for you. I’ll send you the links after the cooldown has expired.
I know it’s an odd question, but here’s as good a place as any to ask.
I’m Canadian and my husband collects Canadian pennies. He’s missing 2004, 2006, and 2008. If anyone out there has one or all of them, could you please PM me? They’re all he needs to complete his collection.
Thanks.Sent PM
It’s actually still on my scroll. It only had 14h left so you probably tried to grab it just after it grew up. Sorry about that.
I have an extra hatchie from the new release. It’s a male from the coast (red fin)
I don’t care either way if there’s a theme as long as it a theme I can do. Though my finished card is floral if that makes a difference. As for start time, it doesn’t really matter to me. I plan on doing both the pyo and the card swap even if they’re at the same time.
I’d be up for another one. (I have one card carved already)
I think DM means that’s what colors she personally wants for herself not what everyone has to do. All her previous swap sculpts are all in black, white, and grey. I get the impression pretty much anything goes as long as it’s forest related. When I send my request in I plan on requesting fall colors.
I don’t know if Windstone sells replacements or not. If not, try the dollar store or a store that sells candles. Maybe even Michael’s. See if one of those places has a very basic votive holder. The one Windstone uses is round with straight sides in clear or yellowish glass.
