Did this batch of fantasy kirins use up the unpainted “small foot” standing kirins?
No, There was between 400-500 of them cast! Still a big batch left.
I am also going to paint a batch of simple koi ones, like tanchos, when I get can to it. I Need to paint ebay stuff today, then I’ll round up a raffle piece of some kind.
Then cougars or brindle wolves…or merle gothic unis.Would the tancho koi ki rin have just the red spot or would they be the black pattern with a red spot? I am not familiar with the patterns and looked up tancho koi and showed it with just a red spot and some with the black spots. I think if it inst too much trouble the black pattern would look awesome with the red spot.
The tancho is just white with a red spot.
Ok, I have one from the GB koi batch that is red and white, shucks 🙂
I just got mine today. It is in the second class photo right in front. It is orange with green tentacles. or vines? Very bright. I dont care for the orange so I have him in the trade ads. Also there is magic paint that just shines in the sun.

OMG!!! Mine just arrived and I JUST LOVE HER!! I don’t usually have good luck in GB’s but this time I got one of my favorites. Such bright colors & intricate scaling – just gorgeous! Thanks Melody for such a beautiful sculpt! I hope that this wasn’t the one that gave you the migraine headache 😉

I finally got my koi-rin. This sculpt is even more adorable in person than in pictures. 🙂 My koi-rin looks like she has been wading through chest-deep orange dye. She is very cute (I love her blue eyes and little pink nose), but there are some others I like more, so might end up trading her.
I really like the saddle on yours! And the little orange cheeks 🙂

Looks like there is only around 32?
I’d LOVE to be able to get one, but not sure the stars will align with my luck, bank account and timing. We’ll see…. At least I can save a screen shot to ‘Oooo & Ahhh’ over. 🙂Maybe there is more, Melody did say she was still working on these. But maybe the ones in the picture need pads or some finishing touches. I hope there is more too.

I know Susie has been super helpful with letting us know which day they wont come out, so maybe, wink wink, she can do that with this batch 😉 or at least an update.
I saw people posting pictures in the classifieds and my heart stopped because I thought I had missed the release! Yikes!

They look almost done, maybe this week? Unless there are more being painted. I just hope we get some hints as to when they might be in the store, would hate to miss these guys. I like some of the natural ones and some of the really bright ones too.

How are the brindle wolves coming along?
This is Melody; I am signed in as “Drupaldragon” because my home computer won’t log me into the forum as Melody for some incomprehensible reason.
Lets see brindle wolves, cougars, merle and buckskin gothic unicorns. I haven’t started on those yet. I’ll get on it soon as I am done with these pain-in-the-butt fantasy kirins.
Tanukis and the 2 sitting foxes are being cast now.
We’ve only got a couple molds of each so far, so It will take a week or so until we have a decent sized batch together.Thank you for the update. Cant wait for the brindle wolves and Merle unicorns.
Do you foresee the fantasy batch taking another week or so to finish? Or have they worn out their welcome 😀 and will come out sooner?lol, Ferlin, you grabbed the one I wanted. 😉

Ahhhh I really like mine. 🙂 He even has some magic invisible paint across the black markings on his shoulders. So cute!
I can’t find this one in the class photos though. And he has a silver horn….
There are a handful I’d trade this one for but I think they’re long shots. Love the gray ones. So I’d be pretty happy to have this one stay with me too. 🙂
I’m so glad I managed to snag one from this batch. I’ve been working so much lately, I’ve barely had time for fun things and I’ve missed the last few GB batches. 😛
So pretty! I think it might be in the third class photo, third row,third one from the left. The pictures are so small though, I might be mistaken.
