I know. I messaged the sellers and suggested they double-check the shipping quote for Castle Weinburg.
I got this reply – “Hello, thanks for your message! We haven’t sold any fragile items before and we’ve ended up under charging for shipping, so we’re just covering our bases. The total value between the price listed and shipping costs is equivalent to the item’s fair market value, so the end cost to the buyer will be fair, regardless of what shipping ends up being on our end. Let us know if you have any other questions, thanks!”
I can sympathize with problems estimating the shipping costs, but I don’t like their solution.

Yeah. And isn’t it interesting that the shipping costs are the same as each respective castles ‘ BIN prices?
Seller laziness or price gouging perhaps?
The current Merry Ghost castles don’t ship for more than about $23 from WS. In fact the SK Dragon, which weighs 40 lbs and is significantly bigger in size, costs around $72 to ship. I think the Ayonah sculpt was intended to accompany this book. Of course, that depends on Melody finishing it (and liking the result).
