Does your company have a Human Resources Dept or a union? Those are also good resources for you. YOU shouldn’t have to leave your company, especially in this economy, HE should have to leave! If you follow through with standing up for yourself, you are also standing up for all the other women (and men too) who have been or will be subjected to this horrible traumatizing behavior. This has GOT to stop and so far, the only way to get these morons to listen is to slap them with lawsuits that hurt their pride and wallets! In years past, men took free liberties and women had no power to stop them. When they took their power back and won some big lawsuits, the laws changed and gee, all of a sudden, the companies were holding trainings on what S/H was and telling these neantherals that they can’t do that stuff anymore because it was costing the companies MONEY!!! It’s still sticky, but the power is shifting and you have a RIGHT to do your job in peace and without fear and they have to learn to watch their behavior and their language or face the consequences and that’s the LAW!!! :shout:
So don’t you give up, y’hear? You have a lot more power than you think, so use it! Many people will back you up, you are not alone!! Women standing up for what is right is how we got the vote, remember? Many men also helped because they knew it was the right thing to do and it’s the same with this as it was then. It’s really important not to just “let it go” or run away, because it perpetuates the idea that these idiots can continue to do this stuff and get away with it because apparently the women don’t care and aren’t willing to fight back! Well , WRONG!!! We aren’t back in the 1900’s and we fought for the vote and we are fighting now for a peaceful productive workplace free of harrassment of any kind for both genders and that also means educating EVERYONE on what S/H means, translating it into useful concepts and examples and what the consequences will be for violations, and insisting that the consequences be enforced for everyone. Even neanderthals can learn simple concepts like “No you can’t do that”! (Well, most of them can!)
If you are uncomfortable about someone’s behaviour, you need to add your voice and experiences to the pile of evidence that says no, no more! That’s the only way to make the changes we need. EVERYTHING MATTERS!!! You do too!!!! Don’t let them get away with this and run you out of your job!

(I wouldn’t want to mess with a male or an SK or even an OW, would you? 👿 😮 )I started out with the peacock male that I saw in a collectible shop in Sacramento because I told my best friend about it and he got it for me for Christmas! Then I got the Kirin famiy of male, female, and baby. That was in 1988 or so and I quit collecting for almost 20 years and then started collecting again about 3 years ago. I was a lurker for quite a while before I joined the forum, but I was fascinated by the conversations and the camaderie and wanted to join but I couldn’t figure how. Then I wanted to buy a rainbow emperor from skigod and had to get some help from Jennifer and Susie. They helped me join and even then it took quite a while before I felt confident enough to really join. So thank you all three and pegasi and travestie who have helped me so much to get started!
I now have 345 Windstones including 2 prints that I actually own and several on the way, and 10 display cabinets. So I can thank/blame the forum for “supporting my addiction!” :yes: 😀I don’t know how many artichokes I have burnt to a crisp! And the SMELL!! Oh my, those things smell awful when they are burnt!! And the smell lingers for days!!! I learned that if you put some water in the pot and about a cup of vinegar and bring it to a boil and then (carefully!) take it off the heat and add some baking soda to it, it will froth up for a bit, keep adding the soda to it, and then let it sit for a bit, it will loosen up the burnt bits, then scrub hard for a little bit and then repeat as often as necessary, you can save your pan. After all the food I have burnt because I have forgotten it, I know this works! I have even gone to sleep with the stove on and the smell in the morning was atrocious! Yuck! :spank: 😮

Am I getting some problems with my eyes that I don’t know about yet, or does that flapcat look like it has an eye infection? The newest color circle of cats looks like it has the same problem. 😕 :scratch:
I would like to know how many and what are the sculpts of the pegasus and the unicorns? I know there is a grand unicorn in black, but is there one in white? Do the pegasus also come in the grand sculpt? Are there some in only black or white and not in the other color? I also don’t know rhe names of the sculpts. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!
Yes, I was one of the bidders, I stopped at $2000. I think if I had continued bidding it would have just gone higher and I would have lost it anyway, the other bidder was just determined to get it. So, yeah, I certainly wanted it!!!
My list of suns are: Bronze #2, Copper-Gold #1, Copper #2, Dark-Green #1, Graphite #2, Light Jade, Light Peacock, Flaming Red #1, Ruby, Pearl-Gold #4, Summer-Green #2, Jade-Silver #1, and Winter-Blue #1. I also have the Oriental dragons of Jade, Emerald, and Dark Blue, and the Baby orientals of Dark Blue, Ruby, Peacock, Emerald, Jade, and Amethyst. That’s it for the Orientals. I would really like to get the Dark Blue sun to complete the collection of production suns, I’ve been watching for one for over a year! 🙂 The ruby, peacock, and light jade are productions, not special, so I have 10 specials and 3 productions. I understand that there is only one ruby, and several color variations with the blues and greens. Is that correct?
P.S. I live in northern CaliforniaMy favorite ones I own are the tiger cub (only one in the world), the blue and gold OW that was raffled off for the benefit for DDVM, the Bengal shuteye flapcat, the tiny very old tabby flapcat, the dark dun grand unicorn, the PYO dragon in forest green and gold by Kujacker, the complete wizards production set, all 13 oriental suns, the quagga foal and mother, and the large calico shuteye flapcat. This is very hard!!(I would also never give up my very first Windstone: a peacock male given to me by a very dear friend now deceased.)
Ones I don’t own that I really want are the quagga male and second foal, the dark blue production oriental sun, the open eyed Bengal flapcat, the amenthyst oriental dragon, any other amenthysts that come out, the skyblue male, any castle except the Merry one, (can’t remember the rest of the name), and the dark blue sun with the silver horns (still crying over the loss of that one! 😥 ) and the black and white grand unicorns and pegasus (do they make the grand pegasus? I hope so!)
I hope I can post the pictures of the collection soon, at least before the end of the summer.Yes, that’s the one I meant. Is that a knockoff or infringement? I think it’s too close not to be some kind of illegality! John?
I just saw a “circle of friends candleholder” with 6 cats in a circle around a votive candle on Activa made by creations. The cats don’t look much like Windstones but the concept is extremely close. If you tell me where to forward it I can try to do that. I”m not good at posting. drgnlvr
I heard a rumor that the July raffle prize is out already, really early. Really? True? False? Maybe? Have to go looking for it? Someone’s poor idea of a practical joke to get everyone looking frantically and despairing of finding it? It’s still just an idea and we still have to wait until the end of the month to find out? Wha?

Well, I still have some problems not wanting to warn others about her because I was the one she ripped off the 4 dragons from, then proceeded to buy several thousand dollars worth of Windstones on ebay and sell others claiming she had mortgage problems, not illness this time. So just be careful!! I will quit talking about it, though and keep my bitterness to myself from now on (unless asked!)
