The 84 Year Old Bride
The local news station was interviewing an 84 year old lady because she had just gotten married…for the fourth time.
The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be to be marrying again at age 84, and then about her new husband’s occupation.
“He’s a funeral director” she answered.
“Interesting” the interviewer thought.
He then asked her if she wouldn’t mind telling him a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living.
She paused for a few minutes, needing time to reflect on all those years.After a short time, a smile came to her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she had first married a banker when she was in her early 20’s, then a circus ringmaster when she was in her 40’s, then later on a preacher when she was in her 60’s, and now, in her 80’s, a funeral director.
The interviewer looked at her in astonishment and asked why she had married four men with such diverse careers.
“I say, son,” she smiled, “I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go!”I would definitely contact ebay and have the whole thing investigated!!! It sounds very suspicious to me too, and if ebay doesn’t know about stuff like this, they can’t investigate and keep the system clean for everyone. If everyone could just say, oh, I really don’t like the price it sold for, I wanted the BIN price, so I am going to change the rules to get what I want by concocting some story about mysterious hackers, the whole system would drop like a rock! If she wanted the 450.00, she should have set the beginning bid at 450.00 or set a reserve for that price, and not done a BIN at all. But she should be held accountable for what she did, and play by the rules or not play at all!!! That’s in her seller’s contract. If you don’t report it, she can do this again and pretty soon, other sellers will be doing that, and then nobody can trust that what they won was actually won by them and the system goes into chaos and stops completely. That’s why ebay has a reporting/investigating branch and so does paypal, they need to keep the system clean for everyone. That’s also why the reporting and claiming is free of charge, they WANT us to report things and let them figure it out.

Nah, ceremonies only last a few moments, Windstones last forever!!! You can look and admire them forever, too, you can only remember ceremonies, and those you can have in the park with a potluck!! 😀
*I just went through all the posts and I couldn’t find “Judas Asparagus” which I thought was one of the funniest posts ever!! Everytime I read it I laughed until my tummy hurt!! Somehow it has disappeared and I’m heartbusted!! Does anyone know where it is or could someone post it again? Thanks!!!
Remember that movie, I think it was Waiting to Exhale, where that character took all her ex’s clothes and cut them up and put them in his car and then set fire to the car? Now there is a woman who needs some anger management classes!!! 😮 😮 :shout:

They are very helpful and patient even with computer-illiterates like me. (If you get the rare crankypants, there is a survey they send you asking about their service and you can report the person. I have a question. How do I remove a post? I tried punching in edit and then deleting the message, but it wouldn’t post, it said the message had too few characters. So what is the next step?
