I agree so much with everything said here. Celebrity deaths, although shocking, don’t really have much of an affect on me. (it’s not as if I knew them personally, you know?) but I find myself thinking about ways Robin Williams randomly effecting my life with his wonderful humor every few hours whether I’m at home or work. Just pops in there. Not only is the whole thing is just so sad… but I find myself wondering, what kind of world are we living in when a man like Robin Williams can’t deal. The whole concept blows my mind. I still can’t believe it’s real.

This is how I’ve been feeling about him too. The last time I was hit this hard by a celebrity death was when John Denver died. I was dealing with depression at the time and his music was what I turned to most when I was down. I was devastated by the news and the fact that there would be no new music from him. I feel pretty much the same way about the gaping hole that Robin has left in the lives of people that he touched. It’s hard to believe he’s gone.

Well, I told myself I wasn’t going to get one of these, and I really shouldn’t have, but I did. I’m glad I did now. I got one that I really love. Perfect colors for me, and a winged dragon too. He looks a little washed out in these pictures. He’s much richer in person. He goes from blue to teal to purple to pink. I couldn’t be happier with him. He’s in the lower right corner of the store photo. Thank you Melody!

I was thinking Lynx Point Siamese too. They have the Siamese points but with tabby markings. As they get older they will have marking show up on the body as well. Here’s some photos of Jasmine showing how much her color has changed over time. Whatever yours if, she’s cute. 🙂

I got my curlie today too. Here he is. I call him Ember. He totally changes depending on the angle you look at him from. My pictures really don’t do him justice. He’s very dark looking down on him, but as you change the angle you can see much more reds and orange colors in him. I’m very happy with him. 🙂

He’s the second one from the right in the top row of the class picture. He’s also the only dark dragon of the bunch.

Got mine today. I wish the colors showed up better. The one on the left goes from black to deep purple, pale blue feathers that fade to white and then to gold on her head (which doesn’t show up well at all). I think the eyes are periwinkle. The one on the right has shades of green/blue green, then goes from yellow to orange to red up the back. This one has light blue eyes. I really like both of them, but I might be tempted to trade the one on the right. Feather Butt is here to stay. 🙂
