I think on the livestream Chessie said there was only one with silver eyes. 🙂

There were definitely two, at least: Eidolon and Delia. Maybe Chessie was referring to the fact that she only had one silver set left when she was picking for Eidolon?

I figure it’s about time I posted my collection (or most of it). I still find it hard to believe that I got all of them since this summer. Here are my Windstones, as captured by my lousy camera. 😛

        Dragons

My mismatched griffin couples, with adopted baby. 🙂

Hoofers. (Don’t mind Sammael; he watches over the herd.)

*Shameless plug: Sunset is looking for a new home! Sale ends Wednesday night.

Yay! I will probably be getting an amy riser within the next couple weeks, so it will be like a sneak peek!

FatalBeauty, I’ve got a gold OW. Here’s the one picture I have of him so far. I’ll have to remember to take more pics of him. He reminds me of yellow-gold autumn leaves.

The grey wolf is lovely. And the bat-eared fox! I didn’t even know about that one until I saw the picture, and he’s my new favorite. He reminds me of a siamese cat with his coloration.

Now I’m kicking myself that I didn’t pick up the sand fox fennec.

Are there any pictures of the hyena male griffin? The ones from the eBay listing are gone.

I’m so glad to hear that everything turned out okay. I know that awful feeling when you suddenly realize that your pet has gotten loose and is missing. My staffordshire bull terrier got out once when he was only 4 months old (darn workmen left the gate open, argh!).

When I noticed he was gone, it felt like the bottom of my stomach dropped out, especially considering that he didn’t have any collar/ID on. Thankfully, he’s a total homebody, and had simply walked out the backyard, circled around the front of the house, and sat himself down on the front doormat. Such a good boy!

I got a “I live here, please shut the gate” sign shortly after.

LIH, I admire your fledgling collection. I like the way you arranged them in a color progression. Neat.

And Wampus, holy cow! You’re gonna need a stable for all of those. Beautiful group. And do I see a secret keeper looming ominously in the background of the last pic? 😉

He’s a knock-out, that’s for sure. But I would imagine it would be very difficult to paint all those little snowflake dapples. Would make for an awesome eBay piece, though.

What if you could click on your account page, and see all of the posts you’ve made in one place? Would that make it easier to update an old sale thread of yours?.

This already exists. If you go into your account, there should be a tab near the top labelled “Track”. When you click it, it will show you all the threads you have commented on and who started the thread, all organized by when you last commented on it. A person wanting to find their old sales thread could easily find it by looking at the appropriate posting date and picking out the thread started by themselves. (In fact, I did this just this morning.) It’s considerably easier than wading through all Flea Market pages. Which brings me to the next point…

I agree with everyone who suggested that there be separate buying and selling sections, and that there be a way to archive old/finished threads. Everyone could have one buying and one selling thread, and bumping would be allowed after 7 days of inactivity. I think this, along with keeping needless comments to a minimum, would be a huge improvement.

Ah! Why does my favorite sculpt have to be such a pain in the butt? 😛

If you do decide to take on the “challenge” of the royal hatchers, I will happily snap up all the colors I missed.

I’ve got close to 30 Windstones and all but one of them have names (still working on a name for the newest arrival). I definitely know what you mean when you say that some just name themselves; sometimes the name just jumps into mind immediately. Others take some time.

Most of the names have no meaning/relation to anything, but some are influenced by whatever I was into at the time (video games, movies, etc.).

                            Here’s a sampling of mine:
                            Garrett (male brown griffin)
                            Leona (female wolf griffin)
Basil, short for Basilisk (peacock emperor)
                            Emerson (emerald OW)
                            Bree (amethyst fledgling)
                            Lorik (white scratcher)
                            Cornelius (serpentine curlie)
                            Raiku (black gold fledgling)

I have to ask: Who makes that beautiful little python you have in the background of the main pic? I saw a similar (same sculpt, different paint maybe?) one on the GB poad thread but forgot to ask. It looks really nice. I don’t suppose that’s part of the sale?
