Wowza! The Earthen Fey young dragon went for $710. That’s quite impressive for a young dragon. 🙂 I hope this means we see more Earthen Fey dragons *coughEarthenFeyEmperorcough*; they’re just lovely. 😉
The emperor dragon is my favorite sculpt partly because its scales look snakelike. I think it looks brilliant in all the reptilian paint schemes I’ve seen, Checkered Copper included. I’m sorely tempted to bid on him, but with all the additions I’ve made to my collection lately, I probably shouldn’t. Not that that has ever stopped me before. 😉
Ooh, that spectral is a beauty! I love spectral eyes and how they seem to glow in low light. I have 5 sitting spectrals and 2 rising spectrals, and I wish I had room for more!
I think Halloween fat cat pebbles would be ideal. Cats are always associated with Halloween, and the sculpt is big and smooth enough to have cool little bats and bones and pumpkins painted on them.
Also, I think if Melody painted Halloween poads, certain people here might actually overdose on poads. You know who you are. 😉
Syn, that is one beautiful spotted kitty! And I still love that burnt hot pocket tiger. I wonder if the burnt hot pocket leopard will turn up.
Thanks, everyone. My first response when I pulled off the top cardboard insert was, “Whoa!”.
Syn, your cougar is understated but lovely. Her coloration reminds of a liger.
Hallelujah! The wait is finally over. 😀 It felt like it took forever for my grab bag cougar to arrive, but what a grab I got! I received an absolutely STUNNING Maltese tiger. I am so happy. I’ll be honest, this cougar wasn’t on my radar at all. I totally overlooked it in the group photo, but in person? I love it. I am 99.9% sure that this guy is in his forever home.
Here he is in all his silvery glory: 🙂
Mercury Star, it’s nice to hear that you have a special connection to your cougar. I had wondered where the “burnt hot pocket” cougars (as Melody dubbed them LOL) ended up. I think they’re neat.
Wow, Syn, you got a knock-out. Congrats!
Arrgh! My cougar has been stuck in Customs for more than 2 days! I promise, Customs, the cougar is not a controlled substance (although Windstones are addictive). 😉
It’s funny; according to the tracking numbers, my mother`s and my cougars arrived on the same plane and got scanned within 10 minutes of each other, but she got hers yesterday and mine won`t get delivered until next week. 🙁 Don`t they know how impatient I am? 😛
If you ever want to know how much something went for, just click the photo of it here on this thread. It will take you directly to the ebay add. it went for over 1,000.
Holy smokes! At least two people wanted that coiled dragon crazy bad!
I guess the upside of this (aside from Windstone’s financial benefit) is that we will probably see more pretty Black Rainbows. 🙂
My mother’s sneaky cougar slipped past Customs unnoticed, so he showed up today while mine is still in transit. He’s a gorgeous one, although we’re not quite sure what cat markings he has. He is very dark and dramatic, to be sure. His back is a smokey grey, while his tail and belly are more orange, with black stripes all over.
My mother is undecided as to whether she wants to keep him or trade him, since there are so many beautiful cougars. I might make an ad for her later if she opts to trade.
Serendipity, are those GREEN eyes on your cougar? That’s awesome! (Green is my favorite color.) I didn’t know any of them had green eyes.
I think mine should be arriving today. I’m so excited. 😀
Did anyone get theirs today? I know mine is stuck in Customs, so I need live vicariously through others getting cougars LOL.
