Haha, yep! Let us know if you do track it down, but the odd fussy episodes will probably crop up occassionally just to keep it all real π And it’s always something different…
Aw, so lovely!
I love ’em all. Mine’s a quarterhorse, but my aunt’s arab is so smart. I only have the one, but as the kids get older we’ll get at least one more πpipsxlch wrote:Go away for awhile and see what you miss! π―
Glad I can live without these colors. Don’t have the money for them anyhow, so *whew* that I don’t have to fret wondering if there’s a way. Reasonable price for them really, though. Hopefully they will come in one of ‘my’ colors some day far in the future when I can get one.
You and me both! I can’t believe I missed this… even if I can’t get one right now, I would’ve enjoyed the guessing game π
Wow! All the dresses are beautiful! I love the stately brown of the bridesmaids’ dresses; a blue accent will be perfect! (Rather like the brown dragons 8))
Have you picked flowers yet?Was it an initial relief/breather to paint baseboards and not worry about detail? Or was it just a drag? (I recently volunteered to paint railings, and it was nice to be mindless at first, but it was a chore before the end.)
Can’t wait to see the new abode!Safe journey! Moving is always a pain, but it’s exciting too π New people, new places, new ways of doing things. Germany to Hawaii… 2 coveted assignment spots 8) trading awesome pastries, Bavarian cream & rich dinners (and beer) for beaches & coffee, volcanoes & ravines, sea turtles & snorkeling. *grin* *slightly jealous* π
Do the pets have to be quarantined? I hope all goes smoothly for them as well.π Sounds like she should sue the guy and not you (well, if she was going to sue at all, which is just crazy all on its own) if he was the one who agreed to give the dog back to her. Some people are just rotten, although maybe she is concerned about the dog if she knows the guy was not feeding her enough. How did she even know you had the dog and that she was underweight? (Hmmm… too many female pronouns, gets confusing π ) I suspect the guy you bought the dog from is the one getting off the hook here…

I wish the green would extend to that last row of scales. It seems it ended just a bit prematurly. I would like more on the neck, too. It still looks lovely, but more green and less silver would be better.
I agree! The green is so lovely, and I like the combination with the silver. No bids from me though… I’m soooo trying to be good for a little while at least π

It is! π I have lots of cool shells scattered around the house on display…
Have fun! Take pics!

We took her to the vet on Wed for her checkup… (supposed to be prepurchase visit)
The last time I bought a horse, he was supposed to be 17 and turned out to be 25; this time she was supposed to be 10 (as of this summer) and when the vet looked at her teeth he said, “There’s no way she’s 10.” She’s closer to 6! And she’s completely green! The vet said she just doesn’t know anything (including having feet picked up, and stuff like that). The vet said to treat her like a green 3 year old. Better than finding out she’s 10 years older. π Our best guess is that she really was just a brood mare to the guy that owned her originally. Thankfully, she’s at her real home now, and she’ll learn what it is to be loved for herself and not just her genes.Oh, cool, now we both have young horses we have to train! LOL!
Kyrin
Ironically, if she’d been advertised honestly, I wouldn’t have even looked at her; but, she’s so sweet and deserves someone who will work with her. It took a few days for her to even get used to someone brushing her left side… she would startle & shy (my aunt says that’s likely where she was punished/poked); now she’s realizing that brushing is a good thing. We’re going to get over one thing at a time. She already watches me and calls out when she sees me and hasn’t made a nipping motion in days π At first I felt I wasn’t up to training a horse, but everyday when Ryan naps I have my hour to spend with her and she’s just improving so fast. She loves the pasture too… though she really grazes (T didn’t so much) and I’m afraid that it’ll be all dirt before long. π

I have one; I ride my stallion, the gelding and one of my mares in it. It works pretty well once you’ve gotten it fitted correctly. The instructions are fairly clear that came with it. I like it better than the mechanical hackamore because there are no shanks that my boys can flip upside down. π And mine is the beta, not the leather. THAT aspect, I LOVE. When I want to clean it, it goes into the dishwasher. (Yes, I said dishwasher π ) By itself, not with the dishes…unless I’m ticked off at the hubby……
Great…that what I got! Cool.
Kyrin
Hmmm… I’d never heard of this. Let me know if you like it too, Kyrin. My new babe has a strong fear of anything being put in her mouth (worming was not fun; next time I’m going to squirt it into some sweet feed) and I’ve been using a hackamore. But, she doesn’t understand turning at all and interprets everything as “back up”. She’s so mixed up, poor thing, but willing. This sounds like a promising alternative if it really is better for turning.
Lovely pony pictures! They really do look like hobbits, don’t they π Silo is amazing!
Aw, yea! Congrats! π
Well, here’s mine! I finally broke down and told my husband that there was a new dragon in the house that he hadn’t noticed. He looked right past it and didn’t see it, so I pointed it out. He said that he never would’ve noticed it, as when he glanced over it he just thought, “shell”! He said, “If you parked a viper in the driveway, I would notice.” π
Here she is!
Does she blend or what!
I love it! -
