I have a special little guy, too… my amethyst curl. I named him “Oddball”.
Thankies, everyone!
Here’s a more natural-colored wolf I recently finished (Permafrost #1). Her sale is pending… will know in a few days.
Hi, all! Just an update. Things have settled down for me a bit. We have moved in with the in-laws for a while… though the sale on my house fell through. T.T But things should be a little better for us at the moment.
Here are the finished pics of the normal-colored tiger griffin.
Will have a couple other pieces to post later. 🙂
EDIT: I hate photobucket… why can’t the pics ever re-size right. >.<
I live in Baton Rouge, too. Spraying is a nightmare! With the humidity, weird things happen to the paint when applying a spray-type sealer.
I use Golden’s brush-on polymer varnish with UVLS (UV protection). I have not experienced any tackiness or problems with this sealer. This is all I use now. 🙂
It can be thinned and sprayed out of an airbrush, but I never never tried.
I comes in 3 finishes – gloss, satin, and matte

I love the blue one!!!

The pic is not the best, but here’s a peek at a normal-colored griffin in progress.
Aww. Thankies, everyone.
WOW that Uni is SPOT ON! hahahah hehehe …. yeah not funny.
In all seriousness, your detail work is A-mazing. This uni is beautiful. How well do you think this would translate to a small dragon?
Ha ha! *snort*
Hmmm… not sure how well this would translate to a dragon… I definitely don’t think it would be as literal. And painting a pattern over scales is not pleasant. LOL.
Thanks all!! 😀
Drag0n, ya know I’m gonna want a photo of the 2 together. 😉
Here’s the uni. This was a commission based on the poison dart frog, Ranitomeya amazonica.
Hi all,
Thought I’d pop in. I’m still rolling with the punches… a hit-and-run… I lost another furbaby a couple weeks ago… I finally just threw my hands up and put my condo on the market As Is. Blah, blah, blah…
But I have been making a little time to paint and have some pics to share — 2 dragons, 2 foops, a uni, and eventually, a griffin.
Sunlit Pines #2 (commission) – I actually like this one better than the first one. The greens are a little more varied on the legs. 🙂
Maltese Tiger dragon (commission) – took forever! LOL
Edit: I hate photobucket… I SWEAR I resized these. >.<
Thanks! 🙂
