If I want something relaxing, I stare at my fish (poor guys). But they are so fluid and tranquil, I love watching them swim.
If I want to laugh, I look up my collection of bumpersticker saying… those are always good for a laugh!
And I agree with 2H, if I’m really stressed, I sleep. I always feel better when I wake. 🙂
True… but sometimes, patience is a virtue I tend to lack. 😈 I am an Aries, after all. 😀
It doesn’t matter. I figured, with these guys, I really can’t be that picky. 😉
Updated for new stuff wanted!
Oh, 89 dollars… for a second I thought I missed something. 🙂
I think the horn was broken.
Must wait! Must wait! 😀
I didn’t know there were PYOs until I found this forum. I can finally paint something larger than those tiny pewter RPG figurines! Must… get… hands… on… PYOs!
I’m 34… going on 12. 😈 😛 😀
Saw my first piece in a mall somewhere when I was in high school. I was instantly obsessed. I had no job then, so my mom would get me a new piece every year for Christmas. This is how I ended up with my peacock family. I LUV YA, MOM!
I went to college and got a job, but the money had to go to bills… and not Windstones. 🙄
Now that I’m somewhat out of debt, I’m making up for lost time. I was at 8 pieces before I found this forum; I’m about to double that once my deliveries arrive. 😀
*reassures bank account that everything will be fine*
O M G… now I believe in spooks, but when I read Jen’s comment about the bottle, I totally lost it! That was bloody hysterical! I think I hurt myself… 😆 XD
I hadn’t laughed that hard in a very long time! Thank goodness I was only drinking water. Had I’ve been drinking milk, I would have definitely had bubbles coming out my nose! 😈
Hello and welcome! :bye:
Hang in there!
Yes, I would also like to know. 🙂
pegasi1978 wrote:Personally I’d rather buy a piece in a store whenever possible (over having it shipped). That way I get to pick the one I like and I don’t have to worry about it while in transit. Plus it’s hard to tell how something looks from a picture on the Internet. I’m glad I have another store near me that carries Windstones (even if the stock is a little thin right now due to the factory move). It gives me a chance to see things for myself.
EXACTLY!
Some friends and I are headed to the International Music Festival in Lafayette tomorrow, and we are stopping at the Leather Pouch first. They had plenty of Windstones a couple of months ago – dragons, gargolyes, etc. I WILL get a new Windstone before this weekend is through! 🙄
I had a really rough week… LOL!
Edit: I checked the web… The Leather Pouch is closed on Sunday… Noooooo! :shout:
Well, I’m definitely in. 8)
*sigh*
I had checked the dealer page and noticed that there were a few dealers in Baton Rouge, so I decided to reward myself with a Windstone today. Apparently, that was not meant to be… 🙁
I plotted out my course and hit Caffery Gallery first. I went in and asked to see their Windstones. I got the blank stare and the “Um…” response. I tried to explain, but thought it would just be easier for me to look around. I seriously searched the store from top to bottom and finally found ONE! They had the mushroom ring candlelamp. If I’m not mistaken, that piece is retired? I wonder how long it has been since they had any Windstones?? Technically, they are a gallery, and their store section has a lot of jewlery and local folk stuff. So I guess they only take special orders or maybe restock when their other stuff gets low… The sales person did say she would check on it.
Drove to the Ra Shop by LSU. Hmmm… must be 18 to enter… The Ra Shop is a tobacco store and has lots of… uh, interesting… stuff. LOL! They did have dragons, but they were those resin cheapy-looking dragons and other stuff. No beautiful Windstone dragons. The sales person here DID know Windstones, but they aren’t ordering anything until they renovate. *sigh* Moving on…
New Thought Bookstore at the Unity Church… Let’s see… open 10:00-3:00, M-Th and 10:00-Noon on Sunday… Saturday… Saturday? WHAT STORE IS CLOSED ON SATURDAY!?! *sigh* And on the website, you don’t see dragons, just Maya’s beautiful figures.
At this point, I decided I’m not even going to try The Lake. I’m so not going to the hospital to see if they have dragons. Most likely, they sell Maya’ statues, and not dragons. Although, if I were in the hospital, I would want a dragon! 😀
Now I’m depressed, so I head to my favorite little store for a pick me up – Coyote Moon Crystals & Gifts. A wonderful, wonderful tiny store that sells healing books, music, crystals, jewelry, incense, etc. I bought me a nice little slab of fan-shaped black kyanite (now I feel better). I stayed and talked for a while and, I found out they were going to expand into the vacant adjacent retail space.
tick… tick… tick… bing! *light bulb goes off* “Chris, have you ever thought of selling Windstones?” He looked up the website and liked it… so I’m off to e-mail Susie! Woot! Woot! I’m imagining a place that sells both crystals and Windstones… *drools*
