Wow, I’ve been off the forum for so long now that I completely forgot I had this guy sitting boxed up on the top of my bookshelf. I have since sent a PM Kirin’s way. I never did get anything back from the seller and going through eBay’s claim center was going to cost me half of what I paid for him since I would have had to ship him back to the seller. International postage for him was something like $35 and it was not reimbursable according to whomever contacted me from eBay. I decided just to keep him in hopes of a future repair when I got the funds for it.
I’d love to get my paws on her as graphite is my favorite non-production color. Unfortunately I could sell my car and still not have enough to cover half.

Saw her, drooled & then wanted to cry when I saw the price.
It would take me six weeks to get enough money to buy it, & that’s without any other expenses like bills, food or gas. 🙁
I went out to the movies to with my little sister to see Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightening Thief since it’s her birthday next week. It was great. I called my boyfriend at work to see if he wanted me to pick anything up before coming home and what do ya know, he said my box showed up. 😮 I couldn’t wait to get home. I took my box upstairs and cleared out a spot in my curio cabinet. Then I finally opened up the box…and there he was in all his glory. Patch is gorgeous! He is the only Windstone unicorn that I own. I was partial to the dragons but now I think I’m gonna start collecting the unicorns as well. Thanks so much Melody! 😀
I’ll post pictures as soon as I find my camera. 😉
I’m so sorry to hear about this on top of everything else you’re dealing with right now. I hope your surgery goes fine and your hubby is able to find something close by.
I know first hand about the crappy job market, most of the surounding area is laid off. I searched for almost a year where I live before I finally applied at a local grocery store, I only work about 26 hours a week but at least it’s something. I wish you guys the best of luck.

😮 😮 me? I only just got my computor back yesterday and I rushed to enter I thought I missed. 😮 😮
My dad’s a mechanic and has owned over 300 cars 😮 , he just turned 44 this past year, so over the years I’ve seen my fair share of ‘dream’ cars. Everything from a ’69 camaro that was hugger orange with white stripes that we had when I was seven to the orange ‘rock crawler’ Jeep with 48inch tires, the black on black manual automatic Mach1 & the Mystic Cobra that he has now. Fast, mean cars were just something that I grew up with. I’ve got tons of pictures of them in photoalbums & on my laptop but I don’t have any uploaded to this computer. Out of all the cars I’ve seen in my life I have to say that one of my dream cars is a ’93 RX7 with a right side drive.
I love stopping by here. You guys always give me a good laugh. 😀
Sits and waits for Melody to announce the winner. 🙂
I actually like how it looks with the fading paint not that I’m going to put my ruby lap in the sunlight 😀

Good for Nam, I say! (and man, I wish I had that kind of money!)
😮 😮 😮
That’s twice what I paid for my first car.
Yay! I accually have enough left after bills this month to enter. 😀 I sent over my donation. 2huberts please let me know if it didn’t go through as it’s the first time I’ve sent the transaction through paypal rather than receiving a bill, so I hope I did it right.
