I think something else has happened because on page 29 of bayoudragon’s PYO topic there is a link to a picture. It use to work and send you to the correct picture, but now it sends you to one of grayfire’s keepers. (or it does me anyways) 🙄
Wow you painted all of those?! j/k 😛
That is strange, but then i’ve seen computers do some wacky stuff!dragoncastle wrote:I got one, wanted one of Toasty’s babies 😛 😆 8)
I got one also, my very 1st curly! Don’t worry Mi, your Toasty’s baby is in good hands.

Good luck on both of the sales! :yes:etruscan wrote:Follow-up question: the most daunting part of PYOs may be all the supplies that seem to be required. How much room do all the paints, and powders, and brushes, and airbrushes, and sealers, and thinners, etc. take up? Or is it one of those things that starts small and expands?
The biggest part of my setup, is the compressor. I don’t use the standard airbrush compressor, but a small “use around the house” one.
The airbrushes usually come in a handy little case, which doesn’t take up much room at all. I usually leave everything out on the table in the den until I finish painting a sculpt, so it is very nice to have an extra bedroom to leave it all out.
I would say everything I have (Other than my compressor) would take up a 12″ wide – 24″ long – 10″ deep container.
That includes my paints, brushes, airbrush, thinners, mediums, clear coat, etc.. 🙂
Of course your painting supply are likely to grow.Yeral wrote:Oooo!! You should do a Keeper in that scheme!! I love him!
I agree! I love ”natural” looking dragons and this has got 2 be one of my favs. Good work!

Simon looks just like a siamese! You nailed the colors. I like the blue eyes also, good choice.Sweet! Cool Keeper MG. 🙂
I’m deffinately in for the next one. I’ve only painted dragons though, not sure how I would fair with a griffin.
December 11, 2010 at 4:18 am in reply to: OMG guys, look what happened to my PYO while I was away! #833495lmao! They’re smart, they covered up his eyes and jumped on the feet so he couldn’t get away.. Never stood a chance.
My Em Peacock OW is currently getting attacked too! 😀December 9, 2010 at 2:45 pm in reply to: Yeral's PYOs – Gilded Sky to Khufu Keeper (Batch 1) #829985Yeral wrote:Thanks PT! I painted her figuring that purple would be a pretty popular color 🙂 I think it may be a bad time to try to sell these guys to collectors though because Christmas is coming up! 😆
I like the colors you used, they go well together. And all the detail on each scale, must have taken you a while but it looks great! That was my thought on trying to sell this time of year… Everyone is xmas shopping with their cash.
Yeral wrote:I just had to tell you that I came back to your thread to look at your pictures of Koondra antiqued so I could work up the gumption to do it to my first Keeper 😆 I still love Koondra’s colors!!
It took some nerve for me 2 do it, but personally I think the keeper is a whole lot easier to antique than the dragon… Gah i hate antiquing that thing! 😆
The keeper has deeper crevasses it seems.Thanks. 😉
Seth is awesome.. Makes me want another snake.
Cool dragon too, very bright and I like the spots on the wings. :yes:Some really intelligent people have texture problems, my cousin will wear 2 different socks just because one of the matching ones ”just didn’t feel right”.
I have a problem with certain textures as well, rough cardboard does it for me.. Blah!
I also have to use even numbers all the time. For example, the tv volume cannot be 13… Drives me crazy! Increments of 5 are ok too, 5-10-15 etc.. 😀GL jelly! I would be satisfied with any SK, even a PYO one. squeek*
