I have to agree with many of you, that sometimes you just don’t love the peice you get. Images can be deceiving, and when you duke it out on eBay for a special peice, pay your top dollar to win it, then open the box to … not disappointment … but not love at first sight either. Some people (myself included) who find themselves feeling this way, would want to sell right away…and what better way to emphasize “MINT” than to say it’s been kept in it’s original box the whole time…I bet this happens more often than not, so that their money can be spent on a Windstone creation they love. Just my two cents 😀

Update

So I’m right down to the very bottom. The horn sits ALMOST flush with his forhead and there’s a tiny spot of pewter that is held there with the original glue. I can’t get at it. More nail polish and let it sit for a bit??? I’m nervous with the nail polish..

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. So what I’ve done so far, is pulled the horn out and got the glue out as best I can…after I pulled the horn out, I noticed a chip in his forehead where the horn meets it…I’ll wait till I can get some pointed tweezers before softening the glue with nail polish…I will let you know if I hit any snags. Thanks again.

I bought a male unicorn that was SUPPOSED to be “used with no flaws, breaks, chips,etc) and it looks like the horn was broken once upon a time and never repaired properly…i wiggled it gently and it’s in there good! But it’s sticking out with a gap at the base, and it hurts my eyes…can anyone give me some direction on how to go about having this repaired? That will teach me for not asking for more pictures : (

Update: I was wrong. The horn is loose…and will probably come out quite easily…I don’t have the abilities to fix it myself so I don’t want to pull it out…so this is where I’m at now.

Hi Dranxis…I just wanted to say that I love how you’ve displayed your collection – both the anime figurines and the dragons (of course)…you’ve inspired me to do something similar with my curio cabinet. I have a small collection that I’d love to show off – it doesn’t compare to alot of the posts here, but maybe I’ll post some pictures too, once I get them displayed properly. Thanks for sharing : )

I can totally see a brindle print on a gothic unicorn…but I’m sure it would be alot of work.
