No problemo. I don’t see any reason why everyone couldn’t be nice in their crit. You know things can go both ways. There are pieces that I think are beautiful cause of there colors but are poorly done than there are ones that have a majorly pro job done but I think they are ugly cause of the color scheme. Each to there own I guess. You can’t please everyone!

Well, you can either confront them or just brush it off. Its up to you.

Your right ski. You can either hold a grudge or move on and use this as a learning experiance for your work. Some members are going to be strait out about how they feel and others may hold back a little to be nice but either way no one is gonna suger coat and you can’t be soft hearted about what they have to say. Say that you have a terrible peice but every one hides there true feelings and you continue to do bad work, you would never learn to do better. The truth may be harsh but it is better than someone saying you did a good job just to make you feel good. But others on here are right, show some dif pics, maybe redo some of it and you might supprise yourself. Everyone has to start somewhere. Heck, I’m doing a few peices myself and lord knows what everyone is gonna say about them!

OMG, 80, wow, I really have a long way too go. But I’m cool with having just one of every piece in the color of my choosing. Believe it or not, I started this collection 10 years ago. You’d think I would have more. Oh well 15 is not bad.

I love the face and whatnot…but I am not as fond of the spots with the scales. Maybe instead of making them spots, you could stick with the real fish markings and fade to brown and then add one big white stripe in the middle….just like the fish in the photo. 😀

I agree with whippet about the real fish markings. I love the mane on this guy. The green and the yellow blend so great. Such cool colors to do him in.

Well my opinion was just that, MY opinion. Take it with a grain of salt. You are always going to get someones opinion if you list something or put it in on a gallery. I am a first time painter too but I know that people are gonaa tell it like it is, they like it or not. Its nice to take advantage of comming on to this forum and asking the other members what they think about a painted piece that you’ve done. Well any way this community is awesome, so welcome and enjoy.

Thanks GB. I’m sure he’ll be fine. It’s something messing with his veins. He’ll be getting his heart scanned to make certain nothing’s damaged there. Waiting sucks. So do the hospital chairs! I think our camp chairs are more comfortable than these things! My butt hurts!

Where are you at in California? I’m in Tulare. When my son was having seizures a couple of years ago we took him to Valley Childrens Hospital in Madera. The accomidations are not bad but the food in the caf were high. I do hope your son is fine. It sucks to have a kid in the hosp.

I hope they find out what is wrong with your son soon. I wouldn’t have taken my kids to the doctor right away for leg pain. They tell me quite often that their legs hurt-growing pains, so I give them some childrens pain medicine and they are good.

I know. I love to play crash and road rage! My husband fell asleep on the couch the other night when I was playing road rage and he woke up to me cursing out the other cars!

Wow, thats a hard one. I don’t really have a favorite. I like them all the same. For sentimental reasons I like my Emporer. My dad and husband bought him for me on my 21st b-day, I was also prego. with my first kid too. But then again if there is one that I didn’t buy personally, either my husband or my dad did, so they are all sentimental for that reason.
