Is another swap lined up? Yay, I can’t wait! I’ve been absent here for a while but definitely don’t want to miss it. I agree, it’s really fun for me and kinda like painting a special piece as a gift in a way for someone, but I’m still fearful and nervous they won’t be happy with it.

I really need to sell this pyo, I’m asking $150 Canadian for her or please make an offer if you like, I’ll keep her up here for now or maybe try ebay lol. The black pattern is painted with multiple layers of glazes using various colours to try and achieve a rich, dark colour without using black paint, I hope it worked okay. She has natural blue sapphires, cubic zirconias and swarovski rhinestones in her mane and tail (the price includes the gemstones, 20 in total, not counting the rhinestones). Painted using Golden brand liquid acrylics and sealed with 2 coats of Golden’s gloss polymer varnish with UVLS. I apologise for the bad photos, I’ll try to take some better ones later but can email some if anyone is interested.

Just thought I’d post some pics of my second PYO uni, I do feel pretty shy about posting work next to all the incredible talent here though!
I had her sitting around for over a year and finally decided to finish her so I opted for a simple design, which took longer to paint than I thought, lol. I painted the black pattern with multiple layers of glazes using certain colours (light to more dark/saturated) to try and achieve a rich, dark colour without using black paint, I hope it worked okay. She has a bit of interference paint used on her mane and tail, along with natural blue sapphires, cubic zirconias and swarovski rhinestones. I apologise for the bad photos, I’ll try to take some better ones later for the flea market. Thank you for looking!
Awesome unicorn! It would be so cool to see similar designs painted on some of the other PYO sculpts, definitely look forward to seeing more of your amazing work!
