A link to the new dragon I did, which I might do a twilight black version to: http://www.watergazersden.com/node/33338
    Scroll down for photos.
Also, I did a green dragon but haven’t been sure exactly if I wanted it pure white or qntiqued with green too…been fighting with myself over it but it should be finished today regardless. It’s my St.Pat’s dragon, Shamrock.

I’ve been experimenting with glow in the dark paints on non-windstones but soon hope to create some kind of rave glowy dragon. The problem is that if you brush it on it’s very streaky and multiple layers don’t help too much, so it would almost have to be airbrush-applied. It doesn’t change the color too much if you’re base color is already green. The paint itself is a light creamy greenish white. It looks awesome though.

Dude this is begging for glow in the dark paint…

Thanks guys, it was really a pick-me-up, though I’ll have to see how my auctions go over the next few pieces I do. I don’t know if I want to keep painting or not right now, so I’m just using my stock up. I will probably do one last one in the gold and black theme in dragon form too.

Also, I need to contact that commissioner. I had an issue with a new finish I was trying and it was super glossy…not matte like the photo. I need to see if she’ll still want it.

I think it’s killer…it’s done really well and your antiqing is supurb. I don’t think you should compare yourself to anyone else but keep striving for your own brand of perfection because you’re just as good. Art is always hard to judge, an impossible thing really. But your talent really shines through on this and your KiRin so keep it up. They’re fantastic.

I still have a batch of PYOs left so it’ll be a while yet, but I’m just gonna see how things go and not order more until I am done with my commissions and the rest of the PYOs as a whole.

in reply to: Brown and Blue Dragon #544632

We’ll see I guess. Lately my stuff hasn’t done as well as it used to and I may start phasing out of painting PYOs. I’m not buying any more right now and using up my stock.

Well, it looks like this one will go to ebay. All I could really do with it now is put on the interferance blue on the blue and white sections. It really dulled out the brown scales when I tried it on one so I washed that off and kept the brown scales just as they are.

No worries Dragon. I dropped my max bid in and couldn’t rebid again last night…I was feeling really terrible for health reasons but I know I can get another from Arlla later on via commission or something and in the meantime need to focus more on the new medical bills I’m sure to be seeing really soon.

in reply to: Brown and Blue Dragon #544627

Looks like the commissioner would like more chocolatey browns instead of these rusty ones, so this may be put on ebay. First I want to try out some interference blue to see how it will look, but it’s already final-gloss coated so…we’ll see how it goes.

in reply to: Brown and Blue Dragon #544625

Thanks. We’ll see. I think she wasn’t as keen on the terra cotta/burnst sienna hues as I was so I may have to redo it. although it does look a bit darker toned in person.

Also, your autumn wolf will be painted up during the week sometime and I will send you the feather sample paint color soon.

A commissioned dragon I hope the buyer likes. You can find it here:

Also have some info. on other Windstone stuff and health, and general commissions and ebay winner status. All your PYOs are on their way!

in reply to: "Spirit Wolf" EVERYONE PLEASE read! I NEED advice #541201

I watch all PYO auctions. I like to track what sells, who’s selling, what colors, and what PYOs are used. I’m not making much sense of it all though I must say…something way cool may sell one day and not sell the next, or something you’d think won’t sell will go sky high or for more than you’d expect. But still, interesting to watch. I wouldn’t change your wolf though, now that I’ve given it more thought. The face makes the wolf what it is…it all does…the right buyer just hasn’t come around yet so hold it to the side a while, make a few more and sell them, then post that wolf again.

TF do you take commissions? You should put yur info. on the commissions for PYOs are under this topic.
