I know what I want to do, I’m just waiting (impatiently) for the sculpt. It hasn’t shipped just yet from what I can see. I will hopefully get it soon. I just want to get started.
I’m sure you’ll do fine with the swap piece. Anyways, I find brown is really hard to work with, same with red. You need so much patience with natural colours to make them look right.
Oh nice job. I like the patterns on it.
I’m so sorry to hear that. My thoughts and prayers are with both you and Maks. 😥 I was so hoping that it wouldn’t be anything like this.
Happy Birthday!
Oh it’s as beautiful as I pictured it to be. I wish I could have contributed.
It’s a fitting tribute to your wonderful fur friend.
I know that feeling, it’s why I’m staying away from the forums here. (I miss you guys so very much!) But, my credit cards are thanking me. I still owe quite a bit, (having gone through very tough times and continuing to go through them, I’ll still owe too much)
I traded for an amethyst curlie, that’ll have to do. I want the orientals. I’m so very glad I missed them. So, so happy, because I would have bought them without a second thought. I have willpower but, it seems to click in after I hit submit payment. 😮

Not sure exactly where it’s at.
That’s where I am. I’m in Kitchener, and my parents are in Waterloo. I don’t know if you had the chance but a good place to visit would be north of here. Tobermory, Wiarton, and the area, it is beautiful. Plus there’s many “trade” type shops since the reserves are there as well. Also some great fishing.
Seeing your later post, I’m surprised that you found snakes in the pet shop. There’s a by-law against exotic animals, fish, reptiles, anything really isn’t allowed. I think they’ve eased up on it though. Just as long as you don’t show up with a pig, iguana, monkey or some other exotic in the streets. I don’t think they’d bother actually going to your home to find the animal.
Are you still looking for an armadillo? I have one I like it but, not enough to keep it. I’m not sure if I want to sell it outright or trade. I would love one of your kirins though.
Happy Birthday. 😀

Isn’t this in Canada? It’s just down the street from the falls, and if you keep going eventually you’ll run into the Floral Clock, Niagara Parks Botanical Nature Gardens which has the butterfly conservatory. Oh there’s all sorts of places to stop between the Floral Clock and the Gardens. Some great places to hike and great scenery of the river. If you keep going you’ll end up in Niagara On the Lake. A great place to shop, and actually has a rich history. There is a shop there that has a bear back candle lamp. It’s missing the votive, but otherwise in great condition. But, it’s pricey (just like everything in Canada).
Actually the American dollar is worth more than the Canadian dollar, with the C dollar being roughly worth $.83 cents of the A dollar at current rates. So while it seems like it costs more, it actually costs less or the same as here.
For example when you look at the back of a book for price and it has the two prices, one is american money and the other is canadian money, so a canadian is paying more, due to their dollar being worth less, but we are both paying the same amount in American money.
Sucks though for the Canadians though, my money goes farther when I visit, which is good for me, but doesn’t help them a whole lot. Unless my spending helps the economy. 🙂

Laughs softly. Sorry, I didn’t mean the aviary… I meant the candle lamp is pricey. The aviary is actually very well priced. So are most of the attractions especially considering how big the tourism is there. (Or maybe that’s why the attractions are so well priced)

I looked up how to clean it on the internet and everything is clear except how to open the case. I have to dig up my book and look it up. I hope it’s somewhere in the instructions. I’ll do that on Saturday. I hope I don’t mess anything up doing it though…. It does sound easy though.
The only surgery I’ve had was to get my wisdom teeth out. My doctor is talking about knee surgery but, that’s no biggy. A hole big enough to put a lazar in to fix the scar tissue and I guess a few fragments of something. Can’t be bone…. I don’t know, I’m sure they can figure it out.
I broke my humerus before. Split it from the elbow up. I’m lucky it didn’t need screws.
I’m glad the surgery is over and you just need to get through the recovery. Hopefully the physio will go well.
I’ll see if I can find a way to Toronto that day. I have to see if I can afford the greyhound or the train. But, it would be fun. 🙂
