I would like to collect them too. I only have an emerald right now. The only thing is it’s really chipped up. I only paid $20 for it though, so a good bargin I think. Speaking of bargins would you consider a tan griffen with a few chips and a worn out felt pad for $135 a bargin? I think it is but, I haven’t been paying attention to how much they are going for.
It’s the Black Emerald Peacock. Really really beautiful. I’m so glad I won one. 😀 He is much better looking in person than in the pictures. Trust me.

Really? Most of my cats were carried in without carriers. I’ve never been to a vet that had that rule. Now that I have two cats that weight about 30lbs together they are in seperate carriers. Easier that way.
I’m really sorry to hear about your cat. I hope you have some time left with him. 😥 It’s so very hard to see them get old. Just remember all the good times you had together. I wish I could do something to help you out with your bills. But, right now that’s not possible. But, I’m praying for you and Bubbas.
(Just remember vets are human. They can’t just ask the animal whats wrong. Unfortunatly, all they can do to find out is run diagnostics. Honestly I wouldn’t have run most of the tests. I would have taken him home and nursed him myself. But, then I was training to be a vet. tech. And mostly I wouldn’t have been able to afford it.

Oh so very sorry to have offended you. I have seen them in person and I could have had both the sitting and the rising in Emerald. (I’m not sure now it was a while ago) Don’t assume that we have not seen them in person. I absulutly HATE THOSE EYES. Sorry if that offends those who Love those eyes but, that is my opinion. I stand by that.

Irk! I wasn’t meaning any offense, and not assuming anything! I’m not anti anti-spectral persons, I was just encouraging anyone who doesn’t like spectrals and HASN’T yet seen a spectral in person yet to do so, since they do look very different in person. If you’ve seen spectrals before and still hate them, I have no problem with that. What am I supposed to do, track you down and beat you with Windstones until you agree to say “I like spectrals”? 😀 We all like different things and are all entitled to our own opinions about things. I already have my spectral so it doesn’t matter too much to me even if the eyes do get changed over. I’m not trying to start a fight or bash anyone for thinking differently than I do, honestly! Please don’t hate me…😳 I’m so sorry. It didn’t come out the way I wanted. I don’t absulutly hate them and I’m not against anyone who does like them. Have you ever seen a blind eye? You know the ones that are white or blueish white? That’s what they make me think of. Ich. I wasn’t trying to start a fight. I’m sorry. 😥 I’m very snarky at this time of year. I don’t mean to take out my snarky-ness on other people. Will you forgive me?

Actually, most of the gold on this one is perfect. If you have a flyer from 1992 “The Emperor” he looks almost exactly the same. The colour paterns are a little different but, the gold on all of my old windstones is just as it’s supposed to be. Some has rubbed off with being buffed so often but none of them are crackled and wierd. Most of my collection never had a hang tag, so you can imagine just how old they are. Well, I guess I’ll just paint over the chips. Interesting that this happened though.
I have an old peacock emporer dragon. He has a large rust coloured chip on his wing. I don’t know how it got there. He’s never been banged around (too heavy for that). Is this what you would call a freckle? We were talking about freckling on another thread. Do you know if humidity would cause this? Or maybe large temperature swings? He is the only one in my collection to suddenly get freckles. While I was dusting him last I found white freckles on the inside of his tail and on his thighs close to his belly. Here is a picture of the chip on his shoulder.

I agree. I’ve never brought myself to buy one I just can’t stand the eyes. But, I love the sculpt. I would really like to see one with regular eyes.
Oh very tempting. I love your work. I wish I was half as talanted. I especially like no love Frysco and Zephyer. Unfortunatly, I can’t afford it right now. 😥 I hate being broke. (Not only am I broke but, I just recieved an unexpected bill in the mail. The kind that they don’t even put a price on until you order. And I have to pay it asap or miss a round of shots in January. Then I’d be in big trouble. I hate medical expenses.)
Aw, if only I did. I’ve never bought a baby unicorn. Maybe I will. I would love having you paint it. I’ll have to keep an eye out for one sometime.
Well they were broken so badly. It’s too bad I didn’t keep a picture of the damage, but they were literally in hundreds of tiny little bits. Most so small there was no chance of putting them back together. I can fix just about everything….but, after trying for about 2 years to piece them together just for it to fall apart again. Well, I gave up. At the time there were no Windstone forums, and I didn’t think that I’d even be able to give them away. I cried for a few weeks after. I was honestly upset, but they had so many negative conections for me that getting rid of them was the best thing for me at that time.
