Yay, maybe I can win the next one & get the wolfie, that is my hope anyway.

I never win nothing, so probably not gonna win this trivia quiz either, but I’ll keep trying.

In best Wizard of Oz voice, “Just ignore that wolf on the right…” 😉

Yay, I am very happy to hear that my recommmended fix appears to be a good start. I think with the replacement paint especially if you can use the airbrush, it will look pretty darn close & with luck it will be more or less seamless.

I’m with you, Fatal, same thing for me too…4am work start. You guys are killing me, if you can shift the times for ending to earlier, it would be appreciated.

Ack! He’s been through a bit, he’s pretty scratched up. If he wasn’t a Jade, I’d be seriously considering repainting him, just cause restoring him might be a bit too difficult unless you strip him & repaint him to match original. Which I could do, I would need to ask Melody for more Jade paint since I am out of it, but I could strip him & repaint to match original if you wanted to go that way.

If I didn’t love my Jade as he is, I’d offer to trade him so I could play with yours, but I don’t think the value of the two pieces is equal enough for a straight across trade, since mine is mint. However I am willing to try to fix yours.

I’ve never been a big fan of curved horns on the horse type unicorn, but on kirins, it’s a must.

I wish the PYO kirin had the raised scales like the one Melody did with the oriental horn. Oh the fun I would have with those.

    Kyrin

I would stay away from trying to remove it with any kind of chemical, I would just sand it off with some fine grit sandpaper, seriously, if you pull up the paint you will end up with more than just that one scale coming up, trust me I learned this the hard way with one of mine & ended up stripping the whole thing & repainting him. You don’t want to have to do that I am sure.

Congrats Purplecat, & thanks for leaving the black wolf up there, I am hoping to win him on the next try. The rainbow fennec is cute though. 🙂

I totally forgot about the darn Razorback, so blew the last trivia.

Stupid lag, double posted on me. Sorry.

    Kyrin

Oy, yeah, I would be upset too. Nail polish is a bitch…the orientals also tend to start peeling once you remove an bit of paint with acetone, due to the smoothness of the scales. Even with paint from Melody it might be really hard to get it to lay down properly. I’d suggest sanding versus acetone, then a light coat of black, then the replacement paint using an airbrush if you have it, then seal. That gives you your best chance for blending & having it not show.

    Got one for Pumpkin Mousse

1 can of pumpkin puree (15 oz or so size)
2 package of Jell-o vanilla instant pudding (sugar free works too)
2 8 oz tubs of Cool Whip
1-2 Tbsp of pumpkin pie spice or until you are happy with it, I put a lot more than this in mine. Also added extra Cinnamon.

Mix together with a mixer until blended, then put into the fridge for a couple hours to chill. Serving size is 3/4 cup.

We made this for Thanksgiving instead of pumpkin pie.

This is easy, quick & if you are craving pumpkin pie, it’s perfect. If you wanted I bet this would be great in one of those graham cracker pie crusts, but it is wonderful just on it’s own with extra Cool whip on top.

We’re on Weight Watchers, when we made it with sugar free Jell-o & sugar free/fat free Cool whip it worked out to about 3 PPV per serving. If that helps anyone.

I can relate people, we just had the electric fence charger for the horses decide to die, can’t get a new one until the end of the week, meanwhile that means we have to go string up barbed wire, which I hate & was trying to avoid using. However, since Twilight & Red both went walk about last night & were out all night due to it being impossible to see a black & sorrel horse in the pitch black of the countryside. We have to do something, since Twilight is a sneaky little brat & tests the electric fence so she can make her escapes, taking the other horse with her.

We also are out of hay, & wood & have to spend the day getting both. The kids want the Xmas tree up, so I gotta clear out a space for that & go get it out of the cellar…never gonna get to go have fun today, & our friends Mike & Karan have asked us out to dinner…can I skip all the rest of this stuff & go play??

Thanks everyone! It is still sinking in that we don’t have to worry anymore about being separated. Didn’t realize how much that hovered over our heads until it was gone.
