So glad to hear you are okay along with everyone else involved. It could have been so much worse. Don’t feel guilty because you guys were able to get out of the way but couldn’t warn anyone else. That was all you guys could do, & I am glad you guys managed that, cause it sounds like it was a really close call.

I had my life flash before my eyes recently too, wrecked my truck on black ice on Jan 30th, luckily both I & the truck are recovered, mostly. The truck still needs some cosmetic things, & a slight tweaking of the frame to straighten it, but it is functional again.

All that matters is that everyone got to go home that day…bottom line…so overall a very good day.

    *hugs*

I know how you feel, the more people push, the more I procrastinate…I’m hopeless.

Yeah, even my husband was going, whoa! He really likes it too, sadly we can’t afford him. But maybe someday they will decide on one of these test paints as a production color & us poor peeps will be able to have one too.

I am waiting for the next Merry Gentry too, but a new Anita Blake is forthcoming, Laurell just posted on her FB that it has been submitted to the editor as of last week. *grabby paws!*

Thanks Everyone! I had a really nice birthday, went out with my husband for Sushi on Wed, then the whole family went out on the weekend. Hubby got me two graphic novels by Laurell K Hamilton with Anita Blake. I got a really neat unicorn wall hanging as well. And IRS sent my tax return. LOL!

I would get some Apoxie Sculpt, you can get this in a very small amount online, btw, to resculpt the missing mane, then match paint & seal. For the horn, I usually use a jewelers glue, or gel superglue.

    Hope that helps.

You guys would not believe the number of meds that crossover for dogs & cats from human medicine. Though the effects are sometimes very interesting.

For example, if you inject a cat intravenously with valium, he will eat everything you put in front of him immediately. We have done this with sick cats who refuse to eat, it works! If you have ever had to force feed a cat, you know that this is nothing short of a miracle drug, seriously. Force feeding a cat is a royal pain in the butt.

A lot of antibiotics are used for dogs & cats same as the ones for humans, interesting note, the cost of these for your dog is about half what it cost you when you get a prescription & the pills are the same, exactly the same down to manufacturer, figure that out.

I found when I was a vet tech that most of the drugs we used for the dogs & cats were exactly the same as the ones we use for humans, of course we had to adjust dosage for their weights, but still. Funny eh?

I like E, though I suggest you making the lion part into a black leopard with the spots added, that would be really pretty.

This is the winged wolf Karli directed, she chose the colors & decided where they went, I painted as directed. (She’s 5)

This was painted by me for my husband, I wanted him to be space themed, kinda got the idea from the Hubble PYO’s I’ve been seeing, this on is based on this Nebula specifically. (http://www.godandscience.org/images/nebulangc2818.jpg)
