Still searching for my soulmate. 😳
January 6, 2011 at 2:17 am in reply to: DRAGON87 PYO's – Green Cheeked Conure Phoenix, pics soon! #698768It’s looking very nice! I think just about any color you’d do on the crest would look nice.
Neko_Vash_Fly wrote:Well thanks for all the extra info, guess I should have researched the bird a bit better, but seriously guys critque the piece not the info that’s what this forum is for. Thanks to those who said they did like it, I appeciate the compliments but please those who know I messed up the bird info don’t bother posting it unless you’re critiquing the art. It just kinda makes it sound like you like proving people wrong when you do that and it comes off as arrogant. So please no more posts about the birds. Post about how you like the art. 😡
Good Lord, when did people grow such thin skin? I work very closely with many species of birds and was merely sharing some information for others who might be interested in researching the birds further since your piece brought interest. It’s not about being arrogant. I DID share my opinion on the piece.

The females are red and blue, the males are green with other colors under the wings. (Just for general reference) I’m a huge fan of ekkies as pets with the right people, and you’ve done a fine job of your portrayal. Pretty bird! Looks like an SI/Vos hybrid. 😀
I’m a Reiki Master, but wouldn’t call myself a guru by any stretch of the imagination. 😆
Got a local coffee shop or metaphysical store? Those can be good places to find interesting people via their message boards. Online searches are a great tool too. You’ll find stuff near you that you had no idea has been going on.
December 24, 2010 at 5:29 am in reply to: Holiday Ornament Swap- PLEASE MAIL BY DECEMBER 8TH 🙂 #830334I had a blast, and am definitely in for next year.
I’d love to see some more silvers make their way into the store. And a silver OW is definitely my holy grail piece.
Thanks guys. :). I was up late enjoying mother nature’s gift, that lunar eclipse. It was really neat to watch!
I’ve been using esnipe since ’06, and really like it.

Leigha, I have one of those fish, but it’s not a bead! They had one at my college in the museum shop one Christmas. It was the only one hanging on the tree, so I bought him, so he wouldn’t be so lonely! *lol*
Kachina, I’m so going to have to come visit you so you can teach me how to do those eggs! I have all the stuff, but I’ve never gotten around to trying (and need to find patterns/designs to try)!
You are welcome anytime. 🙂 I’m going to be teaching some classes on them around Eastertime, too.

Got my package today! Thank you Siberakh!
I ripped open the package to find a pretty little box and nestled safely inside were two adorable little pinecone birdies. They seemed a bit confused as they thought they were on their way much further south for the winter, but I offered them a nice little nest in my tree which they happily took. They’re perfect!
December 17, 2010 at 11:20 pm in reply to: 03.06 um… not much left actually! THANKS EVERYONE! #832358I can’t believe that lavender dragon hasn’t sold. Shame he’s out of my reach right now. Good luck with the sale!
December 14, 2010 at 4:47 am in reply to: Holiday Ornament Swap- PLEASE MAIL BY DECEMBER 8TH 🙂 #830303I’ve been so worried about it making it there okay. I’m thrilled that you like it! Pysanky are a passion of mine. I hope it brings you many years of luck and joy. 😀
I received my card as well, and it really made my day. :). Thanks Melody!
I keep coming back to this guy. I love him! You’re very talented. I enjoyed your colored pencil how-tos on DA.
