    Yes but ….

Wasn’t the idea behind hang-tags, why they started to include them in the first place, was so that retailers had a place to put the sticker with the price on it?

Instead of placing that gaudy sticker somewhere on the sculpture, they could place it on the hang-tag.

    Food for thought.

So, now that you aren’t going to be based in Hollywood anymore, are you going to change the “Hollywood” to “Corvallis” on the felt pads on the bottom? and on the hang tags? and on anything else that says Hollywood? (moving is so much more work for a company- all the little details!)

We will, but we will have many months worth of inventory that we will be selling from Corvallis with the North Hollywood address, so it won’t be immediate.

It would feel like such a waste (to me) to toss the remaining felt pads and tags.

Do you think you’ll have all the sculptures completed before the move, so you’re only moving finished items ready for shipping?

Hmm, that almost sounds like a vague Rainbow question. 🙄 It wasn’t meant to be!

As for leftover pads after the move, I’m willing to bet that any extra Hollywood felt pads would be an easy item to get rid of on it’s own for anyone wishing to replace their own on a sculpture it was messed up on.

Curious, do you cut and stamp them yourselves or do they come pre-cut/stamped for your various sculptures?

    That IS fast shipping.

Errr, there’s one each on eBay for sale right now.

Which leads me to ask, have people even received them from Windstone yet?

All I can say is, “Wow, that was quick!”

    Thanks Pegasi.

Now to see if the camera picked up the details or they won’t be worth it to post. My camera isn’t the best.

Morning all !! Yes, I’m a chipper morning person. 😆

I was going to try my hand at posting some photos of some nifty painting differences that can show up on the same sculpt, basically they’re to be a test run for me since this is a first, but I can’t seem to find that handy thread on how to. I thought it was stickied but I can’t seem to find it in any of the folders.

I really don’t seem to have a preference for a hosting site. I have read where your photo might be used on the PhotoBucket site, unless one marks it private, but how would that affect posting them here from that host site if it is marked private?

Granted, a free host site is the key. 8)

Any help (directions), suggestion for another host site and perhaps even the link I was looking for would be grand.

    Muchos Gracias

Wow, another Windstone equine original out there.

Guess which unoriginal color I am right now!

    PS Congrats!

And the purple is on my Lap and my Scratcher. The newer EmPeacock OW is the odd man out.

(Don’t know about any of the other EmPeacock molds)

Awwww. going to miss the sneak peak for the week also.

In other words, you and all that you did are going to be missed Dark Zorse.

Like the rest, I hope it was for the best and I certainly hope your luck turns around for you.

May the Zorse be with YOU.

    Best wishes,

I have a few pairs of decent ‘girly’ jeans/pants, but unless I need to look ‘nice’ I buy dude’s jeans. They are usually about half the cost, they hold up a lot longer, I don’t have to worry about them being so form-fitting (I hate the idea of showcasing one’s rump) and they are comfy. Plus I cannot find women’s pants that are LONG enough!! I am just about 6′ tall and nearly every woman’s pants I’ve tried on makes it look like I am going clam digging. Men’s jeans don’t have that problem…. 🙂

Funny you mention that Nam. I have a long torso and a low slung … ya know. So womens jeans really ‘cleaved’ me on the backside. I HATED that feeling! It was a constant battle keeping things where they are intended to be.

Unless of course I went for a larger size and then you had the droopy drawers look. I’m small all the way around so wearing baggy jeans just makes me look even smaller, (read: anorexic.)

I had a friend turn me on to the tiny but lovely fact that mens jeans aren’t cut in the rump like that at all. Yes, they sit a little lower in the waist, but they’re by no means ‘show your string’, hip-huggers. And since mens jeans do not taper in at the waist, it gives you some extra room when you’re sitting somewhere eating a meal. That lower waist is by far way more comfortable than the higher, smaller waist that womens jeans seem to have.

Let me tell ya, once I tried on a pair of mens jeans, I never again looked at a pair of womens jeans. I even went so far as to get rid of all my womens jeans happy with the knowledge that I’d never be cleaved again!

Yay for freedom of not constanly battling the cotton invasion in places where they shouldn’t try and take up residence, unless of course you wear the type that is meant to take up such residence.

Has anybody found anything on the unicorns or pegasi? I tried looking, but I didn’t see anything!

I looked also, but did not notice anything hidden. Maybe it’s harder to hide stuff in a coat of hair vs a bunch of scales or feathers. Just tossing a guess out there.

I did notice that the Grand Unicorn has a coat that looks longer and thicker, almost as if it is a winter coat, when compared to the hair on the rest of the Unicorn family.

A difference I noticed between the two equine families is that the Pegasi appear to have a more delicate bone/muscle structure than the Unicorns. Which would make sense since birds have hollow bones for flight and Melody probably considered this when she was making the statues.

Also, the laying baby Pegasus has pink hooves while the rest of the Pegasi family have grey hooves.

Anoher equine trivia I noticed was that the Father Pegasus is the only one of all the horses she’s made that has the ears facing backwards and not forwards.

And last but not least, the sitting male Unicorn is the only one with blue/aqua paint decorating his necklace, and aAaAa … he’s a gelding.

I figured there must be SOMETHING in the grand unicorn’s rock base but I haven’t found anything YET

I thought the same thing myself. Especially when I read what others were saying about what they were seeing on the base of the various wizard statues.

Nothing on the Grand Unicorn base or the Father Pegasus base. Well, nothing that I found. 8)

I am really hoping that Melody will create more hoofers. I know she has/had been working on a “Grand Pegasus”, and I still wonder about it every day!

    Ditto.

Though I probably won’t be thinking about the Grand Pegasus again until after the move, at least by June. Even then they’ll need time to settle in before she begins work on a new sculpture. Well, not so new to her, but new for the line.

    I wonder …

If she does release it as a production piece, LE or not, will she make him available in both the black and white eventually?

    Hmmmm.

Ok, done thinking about it for a few months. 8)

I keep hoping Melody will release the hoofers (including Ki-rin and Gothic) in more colors. There aren’t enough “quality” hoofer collectibles out there. I don’t mind there not being as many different sculpts as the dragons because then there are fewer pieces to collect.

    Ditto and ditto … again.

I really like the look of that Bay Grand Unicorn on (I’m assuming) Melody’s desk.
