I don’t recognize Brightstar, but congrats on the win! There is a picture of “Clash” in my gallery. I’d put a link but it never works for me!
You can say that again.
I thought the raffle was for Black Diamond, the Kyrin painted by forum member …. ❓
Yay … I found a thread with the winner in it!
Congratulations Brightstar.
Congrats Ceraptar ❗
Very curious, do you recall some of the ideas you recommended for Elfwood?

Same here, no response to my inquiries; PM, provided e-mail address, this thread, etc.
Perhaps they had difficulty receiving the e-mails?
Perhaps they are overwhelmed with life in general and this magnified it?
After reading and rereading this thread, I assumed that the thread creator was going to keep us updated here.
You know what they say about ASSUMING things though ….
Hoofer Brays rather loudly ❗
Based on their last response and the other members here …. I really do not know what to think.
Yes I do …. I feel so ignored ❗ {mega laugh}

Welcome for the Rainbow curlie.
Sorry to hear about Monty.
Happy to hear he made it through the surgery.
All surgery is a risk, especially on a young system already under stress such as his was.
Good news though, youngsters tend to bounce back with great vigor.
I hope the financial situation works out for you.
Think positively and usually, the rest tends to fall into place.
May the power of positive thoughts continue to flow your way. 8)

Rusti wrote:What is it with y’all Mac haters anyway? I’m pretty convinced after having my comp for a little over a year now that I’m not going back to PCs.
Tech support speaks perfect English and doesn’t necessarily use a script, for one.
I think it’s because I do not have the time, money, patience, inclination or perhaps desire to relearn how to something on a computer. Pick one! 😆
And I’m a Windows hater from waaaaaaay back. Eh hem. Ok, I am not older than dirt, but I do remember basic, the WANG word processing dummy systems and having to update DOS on my personal computer.
Sadly, I am starting to think/sound like my mother, “Why do I need to upgrade to [insert various Windows OS], the system is working just fine?!?”
Even more sad, she is still on dial-up and I had to start a crusade (not joking) to get a cable line ran 2 miles down the road to my location. I was on dial-up last year and the crusade took me approximately 5 years. I have some serious empathy for anyone still on dial-up.
Unfortunately, most everyone (businesses especially) assumes you have a top of the line machine with highspeed access or wireless AND you know how to operate it ❗

PS The above was not really directed at you specifically Rusti, I was just sound-boarding a personal tangent of mine. 8)
P.P.S. Sweet another raffle ❗ Thank you Melody ❗ Ummm, who won Crash? I can’t seem to find it.

But do keep up the raffles. They are awesome!!!! 😀
What?! 😯
I can Clash with the best of ’em! 😉

I love the raffles. They’re a great and very generous idea you came up with.

Speaking of … time to go feed.
Awww Keschete, you’re pulling on my heart strings!
I’m so partial to Min Pins. My lifelong friend finally had to be let go last year. She was with me from the moment I rubbed her first heartbeat out of her to the moment that heartbeat stopped, a total of 14 years. And yes, she was a red.
Her mother could be really stubborn, but she was my first chosen pet (raised from birth) that was not a horse. When I lost her to a car a couple of years after the birth of that litter (in the middle of nowhere mind you 👿 ) I was so glad I had her daughter.
I’ve been so tempted to get another, but I already know from experience that there will not be another like her. Just like there was no replacing her mother.
Through the thread I kept thinking how wonderful you were for taking in those rescues and wished I could be as generous. Then it dawned on me, of the six critters I care for, four of them are rescues.
Duh!
I’m so glad you rescued her.
~Hoofer, sniffling darnit, but in a good way.
Nope, no coupon. But I did get asked to join their survey about my eBay experience.
I am contemplating whether or not I should take it.
I can be very opinionated at times. 😈 Especially when I am being asked for it!
Unfortunately though, survey answers are to vague for what I would like to say.

I wished the digital images I had of mine had not been wiped out. Mine was seriously underweight.
It took a year, plus the growth spurts that hit him, for him to get a nice topline again.
Yeah, about that energy level ….
We feed them right and then look what happens! 🙂
I have a lot of nicknames for mine, but he’s mostly just Dude.
Are you positive Diablo is suitable? I think more like tasgrs and Phoenix. Wouldn’t want him to prove you right. 8)

How often do you guys ride? I feel guilty when I can’t go out everyday, but some days it’s just not possible, and right now, it’s often so windy in the afternoons that we end up not riding 🙁
Naree is really fun, and we’ve had more good rides, but I’ve figured out that she’s the opposite of barn sour (what my aunt calls “arena sour”). She’s so happy to go, but when she realizes that we’re staying in the yard, she often gets pissy (not always). When we go out, she is happy until she thinks we’re heading back home, then the contrariness crops up again. What a goose. 🙄
Mua? As often as I can. There are a lot of factors that crop up that I swear are deliberate attempts to keep me from being on a horses back.
The primary concern right now is the heat index. The weather person is happy to report that we’re in the average, high 90’s, except that they take that temperature from the shade. The actual temperature is [goes to get the laser reader] 140 +/- F in the sun, 4 pm eastern.
Prime time for riding is crack of dawn until about 10 am or if you prefer evenings, 5pm til comfort level of darkness based on the moon phases.
Not to mention that we’re having a pretty bad drought this year. Though it keeps the bugs that I’m deliberately not mentioning down, I really would rather the pastures get some water on them.
Pretty soon I’ll have to deal with high humidity, which is pretty stifling in and of itself. Then (hopefully) when the rain patern becomes more favorable, the risk of lightening strikes from the storms cease a lot of evening riding.
All in all, the best time to ride in this state is in the winter.
As for personalities when riding, I consider myself a very lucky person since I have three I can choose from. The Girls, as I like to call them, have been with me since they each were 2 yrs of age, with a 4 year difference between them. Since I started them myself and they have been with me all along, they know me and I know them and I can pick either one for a nice relaxing ride.
The oldest of my girls has taught so many people how to ride that it is uncountble now. The younger of the girls … MINE !!! Call me stingy. Though I could, I’ve never let another ride her and yes, she really is my favorite ride of the three.
I wouldn’t guilt yourself to much boskydragon. Enjoy every moment you can. That’s what I’ve learned to do. 8)

Talk about your thread stopper.
Anyone else hearing crickets?
I am in love with that crested neck and shoulder.
His topline looks like the perfect bareback ride.
What’s his height again?
