AND shame shame as you said…trying to copy Windstone!!!! π― πΏ
You know what, I saw BOTH of those as well….I have the mother dragon from back then it was my VERY first Windstone and I had got it from a Psychic Eye Book Store. It looks a little funny too….but…it could just be the pics. BUT if that person had sent you a letter to be suspicious, I would definately be exactly that. I wouldnt go any higher with that bid on that item. I had my eye on those as well. Glad I saw this thread, thanks guys! π π
Thank you GB, yup I cant wait to do the next one, I might be able to start it this week, then once I get the KiRin from Windstone I have to start my next commision…..THIS commision is going to be ALOT of fun for me! I am not going to release to whom it is for yet. I want to wait til its finished, UNLESS that person wants to say something about it !
I really APPRECIATE all of your guys’ help and advice! I think of all of you like part of my family π !
I have had someone contact me about her and she now is going on her way to her GOOD new home. If this person would like to reveal her/himself to the others I will leave that up to them.
I am going to go ahead with all of your suggestions and comments and make one more of the series and see how that one goes. I will be sure to post pictures of it once it is done…possibly a few weeks, and cant wait to hear what you all have to say about it π ! ~TANEEA~

Thanks GB. I remember when my husband and I were watching the episode on dvd I said “Oh my god, that’s a Windstone!” I didn’t even catch most of the description. I wasn’t part of the forum at the time so I didn’t think about mentioning it to anyone.
For some reason this week I decided to see if anyone else had spotted it. I figured someone else had to be a “Buffy” fan and saw it too. When I didn’t find a thread I knew one needed to be started. I plopped the dvd in my computer, made the screen caps and viola!
It kind of reminded me of the SOS (Save our Sailors) Sailor Moon Sightings of a Different Kind. It chronicled sightings of Sailor Moon in various places like a JLA comic, on “Reboot” and associated with several bands.
I’m still waiting to see if my note will be approved at TV.com. Hopefully they will.
Cool Pegasi, let us know the link to it once it gets approved! π I am really interested in what will turn up from this! π π

I found this out the hard way- I didn’t even think my artform of painting on feathers was considered ‘native american style’ and indeed never ever advertised it as such, but someone raised a huge fuss when they realized I was not a member of any native american tribe. Yikes!! I could understand if I had said it was a native american piece but I never even mentioned it. People will always nitpick and it’s best to cover yourself! π
OMG! WOW! Even over just a feather π ??? Gees, well thank you sooooo much for bringing this to my attention! I will make sure I put that in my auctions.dragonessjade wrote:I like the chest hair one. π
Here is one for Nirvana.
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GUYS! I love the dishwasher, chest hair and the cat with the rifle!!! ROFLMAO!!!! π π

List it under Wolves, or maybe a native arts category…if there is one. List it in more than one place, just make sure that the category fits. (Dont list griffins under “dragon statues” category) It may cost more, but you will get more looks, too.
Thanks Ski, yea, I think I am going to do that next time and also do what Nam said. JUST to be on the safe side. π

Many people only collect things made by native americans and can get pretty angry if they buy something under the misunderstanding that it’s native american made and it turns out it’s only done in a native american style. π
OoOoO! You know what I didnt realize that, you are right Nam! Thank you π I will make sure I put that in there. EEEEK! Last thing I want is trouble LOL!
Quote:I think the writers used cheap to say the person in question had bad taste and not anything about Windstone. The props department probably didn’t like any of the cheap ones and used the Windstones instead.
Ok, so if the others looked cheap, then they accomplished thier goal LMAO! Why put Windstones…that DONT look cheap in there???? HMMmMmmMm? LOL
WOW AND sooo many of them at that! WOW π―SPark wrote:I think this should be treated as a publicity opportunity, and not an affront. Even if they were called “cheap” in the show, it’s really neat that they were there at all! You should definitely put this up on the Buffy trivia site.
A wikipedia about Windstones would be neat!
Yea, its cool that they were there, but how could it even be called publicity for Windstones? They werent even called Windstones, didnt even say they were from Hollywood, CA, USA….said they were from Thialand. And anyone who doesnt “know” a Windstone wouldnt even know it WAS one. There was NO credit of any sort to Windstone at all what-so-ever. Thats the problem I see with it. But…..WHO am I to say? I just collect and adore them π

Just Kidding!pegasi1978 wrote:DragonsCavern wrote:in that LAST pic, there is the Mother, baby, and the Young…the baby is sat to the left of the young one, can barely make out its head. But enough to KNOW its there.
I don’t see the baby, but I just looked again and noticed the Gothic Unicorn and I believe the two large grey/stone looking ones are the Unicorn Gargoyle. I may pull the picture back into photoshop and label the ones I see. *runs off to do just that*
In circle 1: Mother and Young Unicorn
In circle 2: Unicorn Gargoyle
In circle 3: Male Unicorn
In circle 4: Gothic Unicorn
In circle 5: Unicorn GargoyleAgain sorry about the graniness/pixilization of the screen cap. I don’t have the best software to use for making them as “Print Screen” never seems to work for me.
OOOo!!!MY BAD!!! Sorry LMAO…. I just went and looked at my “baby” unicorn…..I mistook the young one for the baby one! π― **checks her eys again**LOL….. AND I thought the father was the YOUNG! OMG!!! Theres something WRONG with me today LOL! π π
Thanks, Pegasi, that really helped! I didnt know that was there.
I agree Water, I didnt even KNOW they had all the eye colors available until I saw your Leopard Frog Dragon I think it was called (STILL by far your best dragon yet…I think anyhow! π ) I nearly fell out of my chair in excitement LOL!
Thank you again….I think I will do just that. If in a few days here, if there isnt any responses for her, I will put her up and maybe like GB said, go onto another in that series I was thinking bout doing, and see how that turns out. -
