Ohhh, no no no, I did not keep the pale one- I sent it back ..and then I got a browner one. I go for darker colors regularly- not so good with light unless it’s white.

THe first fledgling I got was too pale of gold, then I got a brown one…now I wish I could get ANOTHER one with the purple on it!

Initially they were buttery gold, then we got gold with brown highlights, now we have gold with brown and purple highlights! My favorite will be the latter!

You are right, they aren’t really ugly. I just don’t like their smug pompous little faces, same reason I don’t like the lap dragon. I said it before and I say it again, the fledges are young lap dragons.
Yes, but they’re MY smug little brats and I love ’em!
I’m also starting to collect the lap dragons on the same scale as the fledglings. It’ll take some time but I WILL prevail!
