*Sigh* I’ll miss him, I loved how intelligent his humor could be…among other things 😉
He was Mr. Conductor when I was little and watched Shining Time Station, just after Ringo Star finished up. Imagine my shock when I first saw one of his real shows a few years later 😆
I went to buy a bunch on the day they were removed from the store as well. I made up a whole list to paint over the summer for Christmas presents in the winter (being as the university thing tends to drain away all my free time close to the holidays). I hope I can get a few when they release again, but by the looks of it they’ll all disappear in an instant, so I’ll probably miss out. Especially if the Keepers reappear, because I really need one with green eyes! 😆
Honestly I should be the last person to complain. I’ve probably got the last unpainted Keeper sitting on my dresser right now scowling at me to hurry up and give him some colour.

…and I’m Canadian, so really I should be supporting Shatner…but I just can’t do it. Riker was Canadian, I’ll use that as my excuse to back TNG 😆
I love the raffles! It gives me a tiny hope of getting some awesome Windstones, being as I’m a starving student 😆
I’ve never won anything from a raffle before either, so I’m used to dealing with the disappointment anyway. I enjoy all the excitment, and I love seeing all the prizes people win.

We went up to the cottage to open it up for summer. We planned on putting in the dock, but the water was only 8 degrees C! Talk about cold! We decided to wait and start splitting wood and raking instead, but then it started raining. We wound up coming home early, maybe we’ll go see a movie tonight.
Anyone else having a random holiday weekend?
Eeep! I’m almost done my last little dragon and was thinking about ordering a few more to paint this summer for Christmas gifts (being as school eats up all my time in the fall). I was scared for a second 😯
…good thing that my Keeper is still sitting on my dresser waiting for his turn to get painted….

Something like that happened to me. I used to paint rocks to resemble animals. My Poppa had found me this perfect rock for a penguin, which is something I always wanted to try. It was perfect, I was so proud of it, and then I went to rub some watered paint over the black on it’s back to make it look more like feathers. I never saw the hairline fracture until a split second before the rock shattered. I couldn’t even repair it, it was just toast. It’s a funny feeling as you sit there with all your hard work in pieces on the table, trying to adjust to what happened. I’m so glad the OW got a second chance, and all your hard work didn’t just fall to pieces permanently!

Exactly. I know of someone that rushed outside to stop a couple kids from breaking into their car that wound up beaten with a baseball bat 😯
