The minute I heard about the change I tore down all my photography, and had my sister, a serious photographer do the same. I really don’t post anything else there that wouldn’t be found a hundred different ways on the internet without Facebook, but I’ll be damned if they can just take the rights to keep, sell, alter and otherwise steal our pictures. I won’t be posting anymore of them up, even with them changing back their TOS. I’ll just keep them somewhere else that actually respects your rights to your work.

          Awesome!

I take shots of the deer in Faculty Hollow behind my university campus while I’m away at school, but unfortunately I’m home for reading week right now and don’t have my photos on my laptop. I’ll have to remember to post them when I get back to my desktop. It keeps me sharp for the real deer season in November, when I trade my Canon for a cannon. Living in a northern Ontario town I was taught to hunt when I was little, and I got my first (and so far only) deer when I was 16

              Aww, thanks everyone πŸ˜€

Sorry I’m so late replying, as usual I managed to have a test scheduled for my birthday and I was studying like crazy for it. Other than that, it was an ok day. I really don’t celebrate my birthday until the end of February when I get back home from university and can see my friends and family, I usually wind up spending the 22nd alone πŸ˜•

I’m hoping the Keepers don’t just vanish instantly and leave a lot of people without one…and I really hope I can get a second one. I’ve been saving my birthday and Christmas money just to get a green-eyed one πŸ˜€

                  Lucky! πŸ™‚

We really didn’t get much for presents this year, but I did get $135 (Canadian) from everyone for Christmas/birthday, and I’m tempted to get something. My entire collection consists of an Em Pea Curl and Fledgling, they could use some friends.

…then I remember how much school debt I have and how worn-out most of my clothing is these days. I think I’ll be waiting another year for more Windstones πŸ™

Well, I guess I have nothing to lose by trying then. I think I’m going to show him to my sister first, have her decide if she wants a mad-eyed wolf or not πŸ˜†

I recently bought a couple PYO’s to give as Christmas gifts. One is a winged wolf for my sister, who mentioned how much she’d love a green-eyed wolf painted by me to go with the old ceramic wolves I painted for her in the past. I had checked him quickly when he first arrived to ensure he was in one piece, then went back to madly studying for tests. Now that I have a bit of a break I opened up the box to plan out my design for him, only to discover he’s a bit quirky:

He’s got a weird left eye. It bulges out from his head and tilts off to the side, making him look a little insane. I took a close look, I’m not sure whether it’s the way it was set in his head or a problem with the eye iself being a weird shape. Anyone have suggestions for what I should do? I know some users here remove the eyes of PYOs and glue them back in, but I have no idea how. I don’t want to give my sister a crazy wolf for Christmas, no matter how amused she’d likely be πŸ˜†

Yep, looks like wild turkey to me too. There’s a lot of them around home, we hunt them in the spring and I usually collect some feathers I find during the hunts for my dogs to sniff when I get back.

I used to do story-based RP chat over MSN years ago when I was about 16. There were four of us, and we would each use a character of our own creation and set them in strange situations or send them on quests. It was great for adding depth and backstory to our own characters and experimenting with new locations or storylines, and it taught me to use real English on the internet, because the guys I chatted with would kill me for using chatspeak or for making a lot of mistakes πŸ˜†

                            Happy Election Day πŸ˜›

I stayed home from Thanksgiving break an extra day to vote in my home riding. I was really disappointed with my choices for MP, there was really only one guy I could go with. He was the only one to live in my district, the only one with any experience and the only one that gave a damn about my area. The other four lived far away, had no idea what my home is like and one of them obviously never intended to get elected.

                            Choosing a turkey indeed πŸ˜†

Wow…he sounds like a real professional. Still, his loss is your gain! πŸ˜€

The woman my one uncle married is in her 40’s and she throws tantrums worse than her little daughters (which is saying something, because they’re little nightmares themselves). She was obviously an extremely spoiled child, and my uncle is the kind of sucker who gives in to whatever she demands. I watched her throw a hissy fit complete with crying, name-calling and fist thumping because our one family Thanksgiving wasn’t going to be *exactly* how she wanted it to be (namely all about her). I was about 16 at the time, and even I was embarrassed by it.
