In order to make prints you need to one have the money to get the prints. Preparing to make prints, involves carful photography, and proofing, neither of which I can afford, and I have no transportation to get to my print shop. I’ve looked into it for pastel works etc.
Also the dragon isn’t near done, i know he needs work. Those were progress shots

Anyways, I am finished with the first butterfly, this painting is Sold.
EDIT****
oh and #1 and #2 together, to show progress i guess..<img src="https://scontent-a-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/1555445_10200485081088311_440305289_n.jpg"
The other will be started on soon, and will be for sale.
And in the wise of other personal projects:
This is another, smaller project I have started and is mostly a personal one. I am sculpting this little guy out of sculpy polyclay. Around last august, I became interested in the process of molding and casting. Most of you probably already know this, but I figured that with the cost of the world being the way it is, it is just not cost effective for me to sculpt one of a kind things to sell out of poly clay for the amount of time and detail I like to orient into to things, and as I have no kiln or throwing wheel of my own, can neither afford it, nor have the capacity in my tiny apartment, I have for a long while wanted to learn to make my own molds, so that, in time, I could recast and sell smaller, and maybe eventually larger pieces in an easier to manage quantity.
Unfortunately, with my health deteriorating, this was not looked into until recently. I am planning to use part of the return of my butterfly paintings, and some funds I set aside from a christmas present to fund a small kit, that will teach me how to make my own molds, and I plan for this lil guy to become the master of my first mold. He is not done yet however.
So I am hoping to in the future cast, paint and sell these. He is still not done, so does anyone have any critique or ideas for me?
Thanks for looking..

….You might wan’t the keep the pastel cards in their sleeves, I did not spray them with a finish so the pastel can still come off. It’s why I put them in plastic clear ones, they were rubbing and smearing in the black cases.

Oh, you mean around that area? Universal studios is an interesting, touristy place, if you like that sort of thing… then in Los Angeles there are some other tourist traps, like Olvera street and what not.
If you are into architecture, there are some great houses you can visit,( Pasadena area is best for that) but those take some planning and timing to get there when they are open for tours. This cracks me up because, I live in a tourist town, and whenever people ask me what there is to do, I’d say something similar. It’s always more fun if your visiting than when you live somewhere. It is ironic…:)

They seem like good pieces when it comes to being able to work details in.
There are so many talented people in these swaps, I hope some people can do more soon. They are a lot of fun and a great way to test your skills or get into new medias. Well done everyone!

I used food coloring mixed with some cold water.
Cool dragon! How big is it?
He is about 6 or 7 Feet long, by about 5 feet wide, and about 4 and a half feet tall it the peak of the wings.
EDIT** You can see in picture below, he is about the size of a small car, just not nearly as tall.To every one, Thanks so much for your comments. The bad news? It rained all night long and is 42* this morning.. and man am I feeling it this morning. Every joint and muscle aches, and I can feel where bruises are forming on my knees and bum from kneeling all that time..It was worth it though, I really needed the fresh air, I’ve been cooped up way too long, And too bad he’s melting already..

I found the paper last night from the Keppra that lists SOME of the “possible” side effects….
Side effect that may occur include: Decreased appetite, dizziness, drowsiness, irritability, runny/stuffy nose, sore throat, tiredness or weakness.
You may also experience the following: decreased coordination, extreme drowsiness, dizziness, weakness or tiredness, fever, chills, hallucinations, memory loss, mental or mood changes, trouble sleeping including restlessness, vivid dream, and nightmares, unusual bruising and vision changes. Please see you doctor for a full list of all possible side effects. If you need me I’ll probably be sleeping today, but I did make a quiche to eat this morning, now if I can just remember that I made food in the first place, and them remember to actually eat it….
I have been setting my phone alarm, so I remember my meds and to eat..it helps a little…:P

May they arrive home safely. I’m am glad to here they were all found together. It is more heartening than having been alone in such a harsh environment. May they be welcomed in the next step of their journey, wherever that may be. Peace, love and light be with the family, and many friends of Dale and the others.
