Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.April 1, 2010 at 8:44 pm #805465Ditto GB’s comment on the queen! The logo looks great 🙂
April 2, 2010 at 1:50 am #805466Can you get in trouble for doing the Logos? When the Saints were going to the Superbowl, the NFL tried to say,WHO DAT was theirs to use but it ended up that you can’t use the NFL Logo of the teams. They couldn’t claim,WhoDat? 😕

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.April 2, 2010 at 3:04 am #805467Isn’t “Who dat?” a slang term used down on the bayou? In that case, I just don’t see anyone being able to lay claim to any saying. 😉
I don’t know, I am sure I could get into trouble, but do you really think that they are going to come looking for a couple lowly Griffins? Maybe I could get lucky and they will want to order a bunch. 😆 Geez I hope not! Next to the Jaguars I imagine that is one of the more complicated team logos…Atleast in football. Imagine a Globetrotter’s Griff or something of the sort… 😮 😈
You know, I have been looking at Marine Blues and Naval Dress Uniforms…I just wish they had more inspirational color combos…I’d really like to do more armed forces wolves. I do have a couple spare wolves right now…I’m gonna hang onto them though.
Right now on the shelves I still have the Fire Keeper, the Vinyard Keeper (Not destined anywhere, so off to the side with him), Tut Griffin (Not destined yet…but I will see if I sell him or keep him and make another to sell. And therefore, off to the side with him too), Holstein Wolf, Pr0n the Bug Griffin, Falling Leaves Unicorn. And waiting to hit the table, Spring or Summer Unicorn, Winter scene wolf, and I know I have a couple more sculpts, and my list is downstairs right now, so I can’t remember the rest. Then I have a list with perhaps 5 or 6 various people who over time have either answered yes to a one on one with me, whenever we all can get ahold of more PYO’s and have extras rather than waiting to fill commissions etc. Also, Cat’s travelers will be here soon it sounds, and I have a section on both to do. *Excited* Plus there are 3 more Elemental Keepers I have to do, and 2 more Griffins, Raiders #2 is one.
I still have the Amethyst Ki-Rin and the Dark Phoenix Griff hanging around.lamortefille wrote:Excellent work as always, WC! Put me on the end of your list…you should have a space for me around 3/2012. 😉 😈
No kidding! Actually, right now with Spring being sprung, and garden needing to go in, I may slow even more, but probably not, since I was sick and came to almost a dead halt for a week or two. I can’t see coming to a dead halt. The beautiful weather won’t be around forever. I don’t get that lucky. LOL It’s been upper 70’s the past 3 days with abundant sunshine. Rain is coming again though.

Well, I put him up for sale quite a long time ago, and Drag0nfeathers seemed to be interested in him, and I asked if she would like to swap him with me for a one on one. I just love her Diablo Griffins, and since I like dark colors over the warm ones I asked for a “Cool” colored Diablo Griffin. She just hasn’t had time yet to get to it, and ofcourse, there haven’t been too many in the store. 😥 There are a few artists here I’d simply love to have one of their creations, and she is one. I managed to get one of Arlla’s just before she quit doing them, and I feel lucky about that! I still want one from Koishii, (Tiger Magpie sort of thing…I loved those guys!) and I’d love to be able to afford one from Soulscape, and now I have to add BD to the list after seeing her muses and that tiger Griffin…*still drooling* Plus many others…And Lokie has been working on a lovely Griffin as well! I’ve got a crush on that one! I am a freak for pretty shiny neck feathers! 😈
And one I will always be sad about missing is Jen’s back when she was Nam, and before she began painting for Windstone for ebay. I always wanted a Griffin done by her.April 5, 2010 at 12:11 am #805468WSC, I thought you might like to know that my dad really loves Patriot! He’s not normally interested in statues and stuff but he really likes him. So he became my dad’s birthday present after all! He was showing him off all weekend. 🙂 thanks again for doing him for the auction! He helped soldiers and brought a smile to a veteran both!

That’s wonderful to hear! I am happy he is enjoying him! I did have so much fun with those camo wolves…One day I’ll have spare time and perhaps I will paint another. 🙂
On to other things…Long time coming these pics, but first up are pics of the Fall Unicorn updated.
Still alot of detailing to go on him. Mountains need highlights, and the trees are just amorphous blobs of color with a few trunks sewn in for good measure. I have other plans for him too. A log cabin will be put in near the waterfall, some pines will be added to the bottom of the mountains in areas. Well, that river, it most certainly needs something too, and it will come to me in it’s own sweet time. 😉Then, here is an update on the Fire Keeper too. Ofcourse he is not even in his areas I paint, as things come to mind I put them on, and if something comes up before I finish the areas on both sides, I play catch up on the stuff I skip. He still has a ways to go, and I have another I am planning on adding to the mix finally, but not til I get a bit further on these this guy and the Unicorn. So, no more ado, here he is so far…

April 5, 2010 at 6:18 pm #805473Very, very nice  ! I’m especially anxious to see the dragon completed 😉 .
April 5, 2010 at 10:06 pm #805474I’m liking what I’m seeing with that dragon! 🙂
April 6, 2010 at 3:37 am #805475*sigh* I’d still be happy to do the trade if I could ever get my hands on a griffin. The last one I painted was over a year ago and I had to repaint one to do it. 🙄

Impatient she says. 😉 I can only get them done so fast, and I think you already understand that hun. 🙂 Although, since it is late, you will have to wait to see what I got done today. I did more detailing on the mountains, and the Apens in the foreground of them. I found, I must work in layers from top to bottom. A few details, such as the appearance of Hawks or Vultures (Depends on who is looking at them I suppose) or the log cabin, etc. can go in last, but with trees, it’s from top to bottom, or from back to front. I’ve seen this guy in my mind’s eye for a while now too. Only this time, I wanted jagged snowless peaks on the mountains. I also want to add a “Haze” to the sky. Here and a little north of here we have such beautiful fall scenery. I once asked east or west coast…Or southern for those of you down there, and although I would love to move there, I would love to have a place to live here from about May until October. I just love fall. 😀 (And I finally figured out what I don’t like about that river with some help from Poems, and she never even mentioned the Unicorn! 😈 So, thanks!)
Anyway, it’s early morning, and I am beat. I’ll try to post more uni pics tomorrow, but I am not promising. 😉 (Ugh! I just noticed when I previewed what I was posting that those mountains looks so bland…Thank goodness I fixed that!)Oh my! Thanks for all the compliments too guys! As long as I remain having fun, I plan to keep painting!
