If I had an extra Griff I’d send it to you right now. LOL I admit, I am still excited about a Cool Diablo Griff. 😳
And, I can always paint another Fire Keeper…He just wouldn’t have the same knots on his wings. 😉 I am excited about the other Keepers as well though. I pulled out the next Uni, and have gotten some of his base colors on. I’ve stared at Fall for hours and it’s not clicking. 😥 I will have to come back to him…Maybe starting on this one will jog that old cog. I am still working on the knots for the Keeper, and I desperately need about 8 hours time to sit with the Raider’s Griff#2, and then he will be done.
I haven’t gotten much done lately, as I have been busy, and not always fishing. LOL For every one day of fishing I do 4 days of hard work, and one 6-8 hour session of painting, if I am lucky. 🙄 Pretty soon everything should be caught up enough to be able to sit and paint for days and not have a problem. Except, I may have a visitor this summer for a week, and in that case, I gotta clean the house shiny spotless…But, it will be worth it! 😀 It’s a long story, that a lot of people have judged me for, but I stand on my decision, and I hope that my visitor can understand that. 🙂Hey,I understand completely and no worries.I know how artist’s block is.Besides,it is summer,almost,and you can do that one,if you wish.You know how I want it 😉 This time will be a breeze for you.By the time you get caught up with your commissions,of which I am very happy for you,it will be fall again and the colors will come back.Then,you will finish and it will have been worth the wait my dear of which I have no doubt. :yes: I miss fishing and I live on the coast! 😮

But, I have great news! I am rounding the corner on the Raider’s Griffin #2, he should be done and clear coated tomorrow! Honeslty, if I don’t see another Radier’s logo in a year or more, thank God (When does football season start? 😮 )! How about something easy…Like the Bears? The 49er’s? Ummmm Green Bay? LOL That logo has got to be one of the hardest besides the Jag’s… 🙄 Definitely challenging. And I think I have the knots for the fire keeper down so I can get them on semi-straight and he will be ready to go. Scott has been back to work for a week now, so I have had more painting time. I am sincerely sorry to people on my list, and how long it is taking, but I promise to make them all worth the wait for everyone! I do have new pieces out and based for painting, but haven’t started on them until I get these guys done! Maybe if I get a few out the door, it will help me to not feel so stressed out. 😕
Plus my son, whom is 17, that I gave up for adoption, may be coming to visit me this summer…He and Glen are planning something. It’s still up in the air. I am so nervous…What if he asks me why I did what I did? Only thing I can do is tell the truth and hope he understands. Atleast it wasn’t because I did drugs, or drank too much, or just didn’t want him…*sighs* I am so stressed out right now…..
I will try my best to post pics tomorrow night of the Griffin, and hope to finish the knots by the weekend. Again, I am really sorry for making anyone wait for their pieces. 🙁Ok, here is Raider’s #2. He is in the drying cabinet and I will be sending out a message to the person who commissioned him this evening after I cook supper.
I have been uber busy getting ready for the county fair coming up next week. I work all 6 days this year. But, I get in the gate for free this way, and who doesn’t have some sort of fair food they just love? Mmm, funnel cakes, and philly cheese steaks! LOL
I will leave the first pic up for a couple days then when I delete it out of the thread, I will put up a link to my Facebook where it is at. 😀

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.Thank you ladies! I wanted to post that I have been painting almost 16 hours a day for the past 3 days and have had leaps and bounds of work get done.
TDM, I remember you asking for a step by step by me, and I am working on it!!! I have a lot of pics of the wolf I am working on (Basically getting it ready by painting the body and letting it dry as I go back to the others I have started), The wolf I finished (It’s kinda cheesy, but it is what she wanted…), the Fire Keeper should be done within a week, Those knots are crazy to do when your hands start shaking, and I REALLY don’t want to mess up what I have on the wings so far! >.< The Summer Unicorn I am working on (Cuz Fall was giving me such a headache) and the Griffin I am soon to basecoat and get started. So this is just a sort of "teaser" if you please, but to let people know I am back to daily painting as things calm sown here. This weekend should be my last truly busy weekend for a while since we will be celebrating Scott's 38th Bday, and going out to dinner. Then it's back to 10 days on for him and 4 days off, which gives me LOTS of time to paint! 😀 *excited to be getting these pieces done and sent out!* (Guess I should throw out there I am also working at finishing a fellow Forum member's Ki-Rin for them too. Hee hee!)
