Something took a chunk out of my Poor cat. Looks like it tried for her Ear. That’s an awesome wound just by the base of her ear on the skull, it’s lost the hair there, & there’s a much smaller but still present injury in her ear. Oh & she fell out a window Last night. She’s not normally an Outdoor cat, but had grown some balls the last few weeks, (which is where we suspect she got hurt) & then Fell out the window when we were gone. Oh she fell out the nearly 3 year olds Bedroom window 😮 , the screen will not stay in.
The Dog’s eye is still bothering her. she goes back for a follow up the end of the month. We need to get her into a New vet clinic & the one we want has an Ophthalmology specialist. Hopefully they also have a Geriatric Canine & Feline one. 😉
The Kid really really likes the Playground at our new place.
The children can’t move since we’ve merely moved over, not in yet (there’s a lot of stuff)
I still can’t help the Male do anything, not sure if they’re Braxton Hicks or real contractions, & can’t bend down or get close to anything on the ground, & 5lbs feels way too heavy! 😮 (at least there’s only 5 more weeks here)
Have absolutely NOTHING for the Baby.(This is where 5 weeks definitely doesn’t seem long enough)
Umm Heartburn. Tonight the Heartburn is bad.August 3, 2010 at 1:16 pm #820270I HATE it when the dewpoint is 70 or higher. :puke:
August 5, 2010 at 6:02 pm #820271Congrats, Serenity!
And for another whine, Leo got sprayed by a Skunk last night. Then came back in through the doggy door and now the entire first floor smells of skunk :puke:

August 6, 2010 at 5:53 am #820274Oh, goody! I’ve been wanting to get this out for a long while…
WHY, oh why, do customers always insist on going to eat at a restaurant like 5 minutes before closing time?! As a server, I always have to stick around for an hour afterward cleaning up, putting things away, and counting up my minuscule tips for the night. I bust my butt for you guys, being as honest and friendly as I can, and all you can tip me on your forty-dollar family meal is…what, two bucks? After all of the adding and subtracting of items and substituting of sides and splitting of checks and bellyaching about not getting your food fast enough and…AUGH.
Another thing. There are at least six clean, set tables for you to sit at…so why do you insist on sitting at a dirty table, when I’m the only server on duty and I’m so busy I can hardly see straight?! Waaaaaahhhh~!!………
-inhale, exhale-
Okay, I’m good now. 😳So….I think that was somewhere between whining and ranting. I apologize.

Been there, done that. Sure as heck don’t want to do it again. 😀
August 9, 2010 at 6:52 pm #820276HUGE FREAKING WHINE RIGHT NOW
My mom and sister and I made plans two weeks ago to take my nephew to the San Fransisco Zoo. It was going to be awesome, I was so excited to go, my mom knows how much I love animals and I was just ecstatic. I requested the day off work, but I’d already requested my birthday off that week, and my boss said I could only have one of the two days off. SO instead of taking my birthday off (was going to go out and party with friends) I say I’ll work my birthday and go with my family to the zoo. About a week ago I made my mom mad. I had my door locked and she HATES when I lock my door, but I didn’t know she was home, I was by myself. So I open the door, and she yells at me about it so, I asked her “What did you want to begin with?!” and she stalked off all angry. Okay, I know that was totally a rude thing to say, especially to my mom, but I was MAD and frustrated and she just kept going on and on and on about how she was going to take my entire door off because I was locking my door.
SO this morning, I wake up, she’s still sleeping, so I go back to sleep. I wake up again, and she’s gone, and no one’s home. I text my sister and she responds “We’re on our way to the zoo.” WHAT THE ….! She snuck out of the house while I was sleeping and left me at home. After me looking forward to this trip for weeks and sacrificing my birthday for this trip!
I am so freaking mad and sad at the same time, I want to punch something and curl up and cry at the same time.
August 9, 2010 at 7:05 pm #820277That was a really low move. 🙁 😡 I’m sorry, Leigha. And I suppose they’ll be going on next about the wonderful time they had. That sucks. 🙁
August 9, 2010 at 7:20 pm #820278Ack! I’m sorry Leigha. That’s just rotten to have someone pull that on you.
Not as stinky, but my two current whines of the day…
Temperature being in the mid-upper 80’s with high humidity *ick ick ick*
Being on 24 hour call for all Unix issues, including having to work all night this weekend for 3 different server migrations issues from midnight -8am, but I’ll probably be awake a good bit of Saturday before I have to do this work *cringe*. New contract hasn’t been signed, so I have to work it. Hoping contracts are worked out before the next cycle through my server Team’s list, so I don’t have to do this again! :shout:

That is just low. I’m so sorry. If I were you, I’d get out and do something yourself. Maybe even take yourself out to the zoo. And then to look for an apartment. 😉

Are you freakin’ serious!? Just how CHILDISH can some grown ups be? I know I shouldn’t talk bad about your mother (or anyone else’s mother), but that is seriously immature… and NOT how a mother should treat their child. :negative:Go out and spoil yourself today!… ice cream sounds good. :yum:

Of course they will. At the very least my nephew will be thrilled and want to tell his Tia all about the animals and I’ll have to sit there and be like “Cool, and what else did you see?” And, in a couple days, my mom will be telling me to upload all the pictures they took onto my computer and putting them on a CD for her.

I know I shouldn’t be sitting here crying, but I’m so hurt I don’t feel like going anywhere, and I don’t think I could keep it together in public anyway. I have plans to go out with a friend at 7pm tonight when she gets off work. Gotta get all the crying done now so I don’t ruin my friends night too.
I have the option to move in with a friend right now, but it’s in Chicago. I’m thinking about it.

Thanks Bayoudragon. No ice cream though 🙁 Lactose intolerant. I’ve also been trying to cut down on the fatty foods because even though I work more/harder at this new store I’m working at, I’m still gaining weight because of all the extra crap I’ve been eating (I work right next to a Burger King…ugh….must resist temptation on my lunch hour) Depression + food = not good as well.
August 9, 2010 at 8:53 pm #820283Wow Leigha–talk about salt in the wound. Would she actually want you to upload photos of their trip and expect you to put them on CD? Now that’s low–not only did she sneak out but she’s rubbing it in your face with the pictures. I would just put off doing that–keep forgetting–I know it’s childish but how she handled this was childish. Sounds a bit spiteful as well. The sooner you can get away from this household, the better. Chicago doesn’t sound too bad–you’re far, far away! 😮
