Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.I know Bodine, that’s what everyone always says to me. I’ve heard it for years. It got to the point I was harassed saying I had no right to win any auctions any more and it was more then one member who would constantly message me saying I was a selfish, entitled, hoarder when it came to Windstones. Well you know what. I can count on one hand the amount of auctions I have won over the past 3 years now and I barely buy anything from the store any more because if it. I went through a really bad depression and I stopped sharing photos of my collection, stop posting and I distanced myself from the forum for a long time and only recently have been starting to come around again. I’ve participated in a few grabs bags here and there, but that’s about it and whenever I ever express interest in anything it always seems like certain folks go out of their way to pump up an auction price higher purposefully just to spite me. I’m not saying that was the case here, but that feeling all came rushing back to me and put me in the state that I don’t know why I even got excited about something involving a Windstone anymore. You think I’d have learned by now. I kind of don’t even want to bother with the cougars now either because getting excited for nothing and the being hugely disappointed seems to be the norm now for me. I know people view this as just a kicking and screaming tantrum but I kind of don’t care. I was bullied a lot on here in the past and it made collecting really hard for me for a long time. The good members outweigh the bad, but those few people still affected me deeply. Thankfully those members are not active really anymore, but still this huge wave of dejavu hits me every time I get told to pretty much shut up and be thankful for what I have. I am thankful, I always have been but it doesn’t make a loss any easier to swallow.
In the end it’s just a sculpture, it is what it is. That’s what I keep telling myself and I shouldn’t let it affect me as much as it does, but I’ll quit whining about it. Also Bodine, don’t take this at all as an attack, it’s not at all. It’s just me trying to explain my feelings about how the sort of situation affects me. I heart you. <3Got a busted Windstone?

I hate that feeling of loss; the crushing, depressing, gaping hole that you want to crawl into. I can definitely empathize with you and not to tell you what to do or how to feel, but those others can stick it up their ass and should be ashamed of themselves. They don’t deserve a moment more of your time and energy. I will hope and pray that somehow or someday that oriental will find it’s true home with you 😉!

That has happened to me a few times before on eBay too and I was basically told not to complain if I didn’t win something and that I shouldn’t get my hopes up for auctions I haven’t won yet and I hated that advice because anyone who sees a favourite piece on eBay knows what it’s like to really want and hope you’ll get it only to be out bid or sniped. That Ori on eBay was one of my favourites as well and when I saw it I was thinking darn, I would have maybe bid on it if it weren’t for the cougars coming out so I decided not to bid so I could save my money for the cougars. At least you got that rainbow Ori from me and by what the eBay one went for looks like you got a good deal on mine. And now you’ll have more money for cougars if you decide to get those instead.
