I am squeaking for more orientals, ki-rins, and griffons! Have the mother and baby griffons ever been done in the original black or brown? I have the black male and I would squeak for getting him a family😊.

The female and chick griffins had LP runs of both brown and black, with two versions of the brown female – white wings and stripey wings. They are now listed under “Postponed Production” – no plans of making more, but not retired.
Too bad it wasn’t the brown ones you wanted. I have a complete set of the brown family which the male doesn’t match well. Since I now have a set that matches fairly well, I intend to sell the first ones I got if I ever get around to taking good photos.My keyboard is broken. I keep pressing "Escape", but I'm still here.
Thanks GardenNinja. I tried checking the identify thread, but only found the males. Also I see the old males on eBay fairly often, but no families. I will just have to keep watching.
I *love* the quillin. For some reason that particular pose & angle is making me think of a somewhat worried labrador (one of the sturdy, husky versions) watching the sandwich being eaten and promising much retribution if not given their share of the last bite. That’s just such an intense gaze. I hope there will be baby / young quillins, too?
And – I know it’s a very silly squeak, and my inner child is wailing that I have grown up into a boring adult, but – grab bag fancy-painted… pebbles? Rocks, crystals, obelisks, pebbles… Plain things. For some reason my brain keeps misfiring at critters with “tattoos”, and I swear I heard my plain sparkle Lady Cat snort when I asked her if she’d have liked to be decorated with all the fancy colors and maybe a “hidden kitty” design. So I can’t see myself going for any of the GB pebble animals. I think they’re gorgeous! Just I apparently like my animals “plain” (if shimmer-sparkly). So I thought – plain rocks with fancy designs! I love the idea of setting up a pebble critter clan gathered around painted stones/whatnot. The stones the dragons don’t steal for hoard decorations, at least.

WHW- you aren’t the only one who prefers ‘plain’ paint jobs to the silhouettes etc. on their figures. I love to look at them in the photos, they’re beautiful and beautifully done, but they just don’t feel right for my collection. It kind of works against the ‘it’s a real animal’ vibe to me. I hope the upcoming loaf dragon gb has a fair number of plain ones, or I may not end up keeping the one I hopefully get! Maybe if there’s enough of them there can be separate fancier and plainer batches.
I like your ‘fancy rocks’ idea, but I think the place for it would be as a forum swap. The factory probably couldn’t/wouldn’t be able to deal with it, but they may participate in such a swap heavily! A painted rocks swap might be fun!
pipsxlch – I hadn’t thought of a painted rocks swap, but that does sound fun. I might even be able to participate without embarrassing myself too badly – I definitely wouldn’t be able to do a PYO swap justice. XP
I’m hoping for at least a silver rainbow sparkle production run on the pebble dragons (planning to assemble a full SRS clan, as budget allows). But a “simple” fancy paint job would be fun – I do love the GB colors, and adore the “feather cloak” patterns particularly. I just seem to assign “character” to everything, and a critter painted with critters starts a war of personalities in my silly brain, heh.
