When y’all are referring to the “old black” unicorns, are you referring to the ones where the black seems “softer” (for lack of a better word) and there is dark grey around the muzzle and at the hooves? I love those, they seem more “real” — again for lack of a better word.
Yes. Black was discontinued long ago. Other differences from Jet Black are brown eyes in the original vs. gray in the new; gold horns, necklaces, and hooves instead of silver; and red jewels instead of clear/colorless.

That’s an old photo of my old black family. I’ve moved 4 times in the nearly 10 years since it was taken.Thanks, GardenNinja for the info. And thank you Pegasi for posting – I love those! Personally, I just feel like the jet black doesn’t do the sculpts justice, some of the detail gets lost in the unrelieved black.
So I have a few requests but number 1 is my main reason for posting since the others will most likely happen anyway.
1) A phoenix, all Ive seen are paint your owns, a fire or ice phoenix would be amazing.
2) A non brown female griffin.
3) An old warrior in a red or predominantly silver color. Something battle like.
Like I said, 1s my main request as 2 and 3 will probably appear eventually. Thanks for your time.

There were ruby ows for a bit,maybe some will be released in Carnelia.*HINT…HINT*and there were silver ones but hard to get.I think they are mostly in their forever homes but you never know.Also there are black griffin mothers with colored wings.Create yourself an ad in the classifieds and you might get one or more of them.Good luck!

There actually are 11 female “Black Sunset” griffins in the store now, if anyone is looking for one. “Blue Morpho” and “Black and White Spotted” are waitlisted.

Speaking of Old Black Grand unicorns (as we were a few weeks ago), I came across this while roaming around the Windstone Facebook page. I count 10 black unicorns in the photo:

Wondering if Melody will be doing any of the smaller production pieces in the Carnelian color? Like maybe young dragons or curlies?
I really like the Carnelian colour scheme. I think it would translate well onto the smoother scales of the other dragon sculpts. I will forever squeak for Fire Berry though 😉

Kirins.
I know that’s rather simplistic, so to clarify, the Kirins are absolutely, positively my very very very favorite. So any Kirin of a different pose, or darker coloration. (I saw a female online in a seriously dark red, to die for)
Thing I want most in a Kirin? I saw one I believe was a test paint or something in the PYO pose with one of the dragon horns. It’s close to what you see in classic kirins. I’d sell my left kneecap for that!!
I’m count myself lucky that I was able to afford to buy the whole family in the old coloration when I was younger. They (and my PYO and small footed albino) have followed me from Fl, to AK!
I love the pebble horses so much so I would love to have some production colors like white, palomino and black with white points like the old black unicorns.
I’m all about the uni grab bags, but my daughter is a dragon collector and was wondering if you had any plans for another mini-keeper grab bag at some point.
