Jet Black Pebble Horses!
December 10, 2016 at 10:24 am #1512291Wild dog color on ANYTHING!
January 1, 2017 at 12:01 pm #1517121Over time, I’ve come up with a few ideas (as if you don’t have enough of your own!). The first one goes back a bit: I still like the idea of the baby gothic uni, curled up like a baby goat as in those cute pictures some forum members posted. Second, another flap cat, maybe the size of the little ones: something like a crouching kitten with the head and shoulders down and tail end up (kind of like the crouching griffin chick, but more so). Finally, you have two wizard sculpts (not counting the animals). What I would like to see is a sorceress. It could be the size of the small wizard and maybe have a flap cat instead of a tiny dragon. It might work best as a PYO: people could paint them to look like themselves (or their friends) and the cat to look like their own pet! Anyway, that’s my drop in the bucket.
P.S. Happy New Year!
It's not hoarding if it's books!
Cat hair -- condiment and fashion accessory!January 8, 2017 at 1:05 am #1518467Hihihihihihihihihihihi…
I dunno if this has already been shared/done; I only just started collecting poads and dragons, after all. Forgive me if these are copying anyone else’s ideas.
But as far as design ideas go.. maybe Bird of Paradise themed poads? Or Macaw/parrot colored? What about Hummingbirds? Finches? There are a lot of beautiful birds out there, y’know. 🙂
Just a few examples..
Birds of Paradise:
Macaws:
Finches:
Hummingbirds:
Starlings:
Anyhow, thanks for reading.
Looking for Adult Poads, Young Poads, Baby Poads, and Tadpoads.
January 9, 2017 at 6:57 am #1518570Melody has done some bird winged poads before but not really resembling too many real birds, except lovebirds maybe. I agree, those bird colours above would be beautiful on winged poads!
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!

January 18, 2017 at 6:03 am #1519100WOW! I’m REALLY LOVING the Carnelian Color you did the Female Hearth Dragon and the new Mouse Wizard in, and I think it would be a FANTASTIC replacement for the Ruby or Red Fire colors … I’d DIE for a Curled Dragon in Carnelian! Could you do Carnelian for some of the other Dragons, especially the Curled?!? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!

Not the Young, not the Sun or Moon, just a plain adult Oriental. As Ela_Hara said, please, please, please!

And grands in the old black too! I know some were made, but it was apparently a rather small batch. In 5 years of watching eBay, I’ve never seen one come around.
My keyboard is broken. I keep pressing "Escape", but I'm still here.

The grands in old black were mostly sold on ebay (a few were sold in stores). There were a total of 12 if I remember right. They were some of the first official auctions by Winstone Editions. I don’t expect them to be re-released in old black due to this….much to my sadness as a grand and a colt are all I lack to complete the family.
I’ve been watching eBay off and on for one since 2003 or so and can only remember one being resold and it went for more than $1000.
January 22, 2017 at 7:14 am #1519281What I have heard is 12 black Grand unicorns originally, one was destroyed in a fire and one got broken, so a maximum population of 10. Things with small numbers do show up – there were only 7 new/old frogs sold in 2008 and I was able to get one recently – but so far people who have black Grands are not selling them (or not in places where we would see them).
I keep waiting for a post called “I found an Old Black grand unicorn in a thrift store.”

January 22, 2017 at 11:35 am #1519284When y’all are referring to the “old black” unicorns, are you referring to the ones where the black seems “softer” (for lack of a better word) and there is dark grey around the muzzle and at the hooves? I love those, they seem more “real” — again for lack of a better word. 😉
