That’s weird…when I clicked your links, Jasmine, it showed me the Pizza Poads and some flapcats. >.>
November 14, 2009 at 2:04 am #690909They worked for me, but I’ve had that problem before. You might have the gallery view sorted differently than she does. π
November 14, 2009 at 3:54 pm #690910Oohh, I didn’t know you could sort them. o.o; I guess I must, then. π
November 15, 2009 at 2:35 am #690911Or you need to clear you cache…I know someone else had that problem, that the pics weren’t coming up in the right order.
November 16, 2009 at 10:46 am #690912Hopefully I’m leaving this in the right spot…
I have seen pictures of “painted” kitties that have been photo-shopped and look to be realistically sporting a plaid parka, santa suit, butterfly mask, etc. on their fur. Wouldn’t it be fun to have a brightly colored flapcat or two, just for kicks? http://www.snopes.com/photos/arts/paintedcats.aspNovember 16, 2009 at 8:50 pm #690913Not to be obnoxious about the whole wind wizard thing, but I thought the exclusivity was only in emerald and peacock, in other words, that she simply can’t paint any wind wizards in those colors because they were all numbered. (1000 Emerald, 1500 peacock) I don’t see why Melody couldn’t make a new limited edition of wind wizards in other colors?

Unfortunately, not. Here is what Melody said on the issue:
Melody wrote:I did find those surplus wind wizards! Now I just need to find the info we wrote about them when we first made them limited edition. I need to see if we said there would be no more, period, or if we just said “no more” in peacock or emerald. Does anybody have a Wind Wizard with a “certificate of authenticity” you could show me? I don’t remember what it said.
Melody wrote:sapphire wrote:The certificate of authenticity says that the Wind Wizard is ‘an edition limited to 2,500 pieces total – 1,000 Emerald colour , and 1,500 Peacock colour ‘
Well, that kinda means there won’t be more. Dang.Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com

November 17, 2009 at 1:29 am #690916My mom has that book! I tried to tell her they were just Photoshopped, but she refused to believe me. To this day she still thinks those cats are real. π I agree, that’s a fun idea for the Windstone cats!

November 17, 2009 at 2:04 am #690918Oops. π Sorry, Kitsune!
November 17, 2009 at 2:20 am #690919*cries* =*(
…..just kidding. π But I really did think they were really painted. Heh.
November 17, 2009 at 2:24 am #690920I suppose we could try it on one of our own cats! But it better be a really relaxed kitty, otherwise we may be sporting a few claw marks. π
November 20, 2009 at 6:06 am #690921Melody, you should totally consider painting a Sitting Cat Candle Lamp all stripped and creepy like a Cheshire! You could use pinks/violets/lavenders/dark purples for the colors and give him red eyes. Please please please? π
