Ok…Long time coming here…I finally finished off Mmloda’s Ki-Rin…
And, here he is trying his best to look good through phone photos…At night…In my room. LOL It is raining, and has been gloomy all day here. 😛 I will try for a few better pics outside tomorrow, if it isn’t raining. 😉
Anyway, here he is, the Amethyst Ki-Rin.

He has a dark plum colored purple on his belly and leg scales. I went as natural as I could! I swear! 😳

And, here is the piece I am working on for GriffinLover, for the paperclip trade of Laurie’s for which I got an Amethyst Fledgling.

The first pic is just of the black base coat, and not even all of it. The second is where I stopped for the night. It’s been another long day of painting. “Anubis”, has his gold arm bracelets, his wrist bracelets, and his eye markings done so far…They need a bit of straightening up, but I will come to that in the end. He will have red eyes when he is done. I still have alot of work to go on him, but the paint is flowing well, and I haven’t had any slowing down since I sat with him this afternoon. I am quite intrigued by what he will look like when I finish with him. 🙂

Here ya go…This is after his 3rd session…

His head dress is starting to come alive. I had to go back over the black areas, I spun him around so much while doing those silly lines! But, I am really liking him myself so far. 😉

The stripes are part of a head cloth if your talking about the griffin. It was worn by nobility in Ancient Egypt. Since Anubis was a god its only fitting he wears one as well.
