Yeah, it looks like Backer number would be a much more fair way to assign choices this round, since the message system did not work properly. Has anyone gotten a message back, re their choices? I know I haven’t and I used the “ask a question” button, the only thing available to me by 11:02.

I think there might be sore feelings if that were done this time around, since Melody has said multiple times and all through the campaign preview that it would be done by KS message timestamp, that that is also reflected in the live KS text. That said, I know no one anticipated the “Contact me” button not working for some people, so I don’t know.
Backer number would probably make it way easier for Melody but shes probably still in shock

My sentiment was Melody probably got pummeled with 50-70 messages all at the same minute with no way to truly sort them out. If it breaks it down by seconds them maybe that will still work the original way. I’m not sure how nitty gritty kickstarter’s messages break down the times they were recieved.Got a busted Windstone?

I hope it does as I messaged in the first two minutes. Then again I don’t think anyone posted they wanted the same ones I picked.

I’m not sure how nitty gritty kickstarter’s messages break down the times they were recieved.Melody doesn’t need an actually visible timestamp; the order that the messages appear in her KS inbox is the order in which they were received.
But the problem with the order they appear in would be for anyone who had to message again later, maybe that would move their message to the top when they actually messaged at the beginning. Oh man I hope Melody is able to sort this out. I feel like it’s going to be kind of messy especially if people picked multiple ones as options and then Melody would have to sort out which one to give to who.

Ok, I’ve heard some people have heard back. Since they were backers after me, it looks like my “ask a question” didn’t go through. No worries. Either I get one of my top three, or I can back out of my pledge. I’m very glad these weren’t Unis! 😂 I’m keeping my cool cause I really like dragons, but if they were Unis I’d probably be in my room pouting 😂

DRAGONS: Male CoyoteI haven’t heard back either and I sent my question at 2:00 on the nose. I even sent it again after I updated my pledge amount, same thing, word for word, still 2:00 pm. I just didn’t know if one was connected to the pledge or another so I wanted to be sure.
EDIT: but then again I sent my message regarding Tig3r’s claim almost 10 minutes later so that may have bumped my entire string WAY down the que line.
