Oh my gosh, those eyes! The paint job really compliments them and makes him look super cute π Really nice job! Love how he seems to glow.
Commission spots are currently closed! Please message me for details.

Aww, thank you.
December 17, 2014 at 3:22 am #923127Love the king fisher griffin, he is very bright and eye-catching! I dont know how you get these things painted as fast as you do, damn !! I wish I had more time to work on PYO’s….. guess I gotta start making time and stop giving it away so much to others, lol!
December 17, 2014 at 3:30 am #923129Well, lately I’ve been spending more time on PYOs than I should. π But when I’m in the mood to paint, it’s what I do instead of watching TV or reading or that kind of thing, so once I finish work I’ll spend all evening painting.
December 17, 2014 at 4:34 pm #923155Love the little “stone” foo pup! Beautiful!
December 19, 2014 at 12:07 am #923232Kitsunes just came back in stock, and I just ordered one! Guess what I’ll be painting next? π
I also have a blue jay griffin just started.
And a probable commission for another stone kittygriff, which I’m happy about, as I really love that color scheme. (And could use the funds too. So broke right now. I spent literally everything I’ve got on the kitsune and a foop.) I want to do the stone color on a few other sculpts as well, probably a winged wolf next.
I have a billion ideas, and not enough time to paint them all!
December 19, 2014 at 4:20 pm #923256-laughs- There never is enough time! Btw, I do like the little marmalade griffity. Very cute and warm looking! There are just not enough sculpts painted with white stripes. They’re very neat looking.

https://www.redbubble.com/people/prezaurian?ref=artist_title_nameDecember 22, 2014 at 7:01 am #923353I thought I’d post a WIP photo of the bluejay gryphon. She’s the last of my old stock of gryphons with the eyes glued in (most of which were also the old soft-feather ones! She’s the first hard-feather gryphon I’ve painted, and OMG it makes it so much easier to detail the feathers!)
Anyhow, she’s got all her base colors here, but no real detailing. I’ll be adding lots of shading and texture and such to her. Though she’ll probably go on the back shelf tomorrow when my kitsune gets here. I am stupidly excited about the awesome idea I have for painting it. I am keeping it a surprise, but I hope people like it.

My kitsune has gone missing. The tracking info says it was delivered this morning, but it wasn’t there when my husband left for work, it wasn’t in the mailbox, the neighbors haven’t seen it, it’s just gone. And we live such that nobody passes by, we’re not on the main road and our front door is up two flights of stairs, so I don’t think it could have been stolen. I don’t even know what to think. I’m going to the post office tomorrow to see if they can find it.
I’m hugely disappointed. I’ve been SO looking forward to this, and then it’s just… gone, poof, not there. π
December 23, 2014 at 12:38 pm #923393That sounds like what happened to me when one of my boxes showed as delivered like a month ago but never showed up. Well actually 2 out of 3 boxes showed up and I thought Canada Post had forgotten the third box. After calling them and calling the neighbor who loved in the basement a few times, it magically appeared a week later and I still don’t know if it was the neighbor who took it and returned it or Canada Post who lost it. I hope your box turns up! I had to wait a week but mine finally did!

December 23, 2014 at 11:15 pm #923400I do hope your Kitsune shows up soon! I wish you much good luck because you’ve been looking forward to it so much.

https://www.redbubble.com/people/prezaurian?ref=artist_title_nameDecember 23, 2014 at 11:15 pm #923401I really hope it turns up again. Even if it does, though, I’m still pretty annoyed. I have an awesome idea to paint! I set aside time yesterday for it and everything!
I went to the post office today to see what they could do, but they had no idea where it was. They’re going to talk to my carrier after his shift, and see if he remembers the package. He probably won’t, though, or will say just “yeah, I delivered that, just like the tracking says”, which will be less than useful.
December 24, 2014 at 8:47 am #923417Take heart! More than a few times the USPS tracking has said that a package was delivered to me and it showed up two or three days later. And right now USPS is slammed with packages. Good luck
January 6, 2015 at 4:19 am #923873I hope it turns up SPark. I have heard of packages getting lost for days or weeks that eventually made their way home but keep calling the post people until they figure it out.

January 6, 2015 at 4:48 am #923874I went to the post office today, and was told that since it’s marked as delivered, that means that as far as their system is concerned it’s been delievered, and there’s nothing at all they can do. Considering that they’ve known that it had been marked delivered but not actually delivered since my first complaint two weeks ago, I’m a little annoyed that it took this long for them to say that! I was told that the only recourse I have is having Windstone file an insurance claim.
However, there is good news, because when I contacted Susie, she said they’d go ahead and ship me a replacement while they get the claim sorted out with the post office! π I swear, Windstone has the best customer service of any company I’ve ever dealt with, they are amazing. Once they even shipped replacement felt pads to a friend of mine all the way over in New Zealand when she lost some. They’re so good to us.
So yay!
I was feeling cheered up enough by the news that whatever happens I’ll get my kitsune to finish my blue jay griffon. I had a bit of a struggle with the light blue and the antiquing, but the end result is still pretty good, I think! I’m taking pictures now, and I’ll post them in a few minutes.
