oh,oh, oh – young unis – be still my heart. I hate to ask for something that could place them out of others’ reach, but while the natural colors are beautiful, safari would absolutely be my first choice, candycorn second. A mixed batch would be ideal.
November 13, 2015 at 1:05 am #937011I don’t collect the unis, so I won’t be getting one even if I could… having said that, it’s my observation that there are more squeaks and squeals over the fantasy/paint puke/supernatural patterned ones than the more subdued and natural patterned ones. The wilder the better may sell out quickest. Same thing for bright blues/greens/purples/pinks/reds/yellows/oranges over more subdued browns/greys/blacks/whites/golds/silvers.
Hmmm, maybe coiled or baby dragons are the mysteries? Since they’re small, but scales are a bugger. I would imagine getting down into the coils is a pain.
November 13, 2015 at 2:31 am #937014I personally like natural and safari colors over fantasy colors in all sculpts except poads. With poads I can go either way. Though if the next GB is going to be young unis, my opinion shouldn’t count – I don’t like that sculpt.
Now a large flap-cat GB would be awesome, but I suppose they are too big to be a reasonably-priced GB. I luvs me the flap-cats 🙂My keyboard is broken. I keep pressing "Escape", but I'm still here.
November 13, 2015 at 2:42 am #937015I know my opinion doesn’t mean much but I personally prefer fantasy colors. I’d spend the extra money for fantasy paint…if I had extra money I mean. 😛
I agree! The normal horse colors are much less appealing to me.
Melody, are you going to be taking names for them again? I’ve been saving up a list of names in case!
Oh yeah! We’ll need to find our “used names” list.
November 13, 2015 at 4:00 am #937021Oh my, that is great news!!!! The GB young Unis were my absolute favorite of all the wonderful GBs batches. The detailing on the young Unis fantasy/safari batch was superb. I am so happy!!!!! I didn’t think we would see them again. I think the flourishes on some were of the caliber of the best Art Noveau pieces. Okay, that’s one name already – Art Noveau. Hopefully that one is mine. Thank you, thank you, thank you Melody. Christmas is a little early this year.

Yay! I started a new list of names. I put down a ton – I’ve been thinking about it a long time!

Ponycorns: Golden Zebra and/or Spotted Skunk
Mother: Okapi

PEGS: Male Midnight Calico, Male Bloodstone, Mother Starlight Rain
DRAGONS: Male CoyoteNovember 13, 2015 at 7:44 am #937028Oh man if I had to choose between young unis and young poads, I would probably say young poads first because of lower pricing. If it’s young unis I would love to see more natural safari as well as fantasy safari ones kind of like the last batch. I was lucky enough to get some favourites from that batch but I love fantasy colours, autumn leaves, wings like butterfly and bird wings and rainbow coloured or pink ones. I would also love to be able to get a natural or fantasy leopard, zebra or giraffe pattern. I think those colours and patterns would be nice for both poads and young unis. Also when enough baby unis are cast I would also love to see similar colours and patterns for those.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
November 13, 2015 at 6:45 pm #937054I’d like to get any GB, as long as they aren’t too pricey!!

I think this next batch will be the “pricey ” kind but next time I’ll do young poads or something .

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!November 13, 2015 at 9:35 pm #937065GB Young Unis? Fantasy safari would be cool. I had to skip the last batch of young unis because of the price. But with a heads up I might be able to save for one. If not, the poads are always a possibility. 🙂

I’m looking forward to the Hippocampus, and eager to see what production pieces come out…
Speaking of production, anything interesting going on in that direction?November 14, 2015 at 4:22 am #937079Yeah, sadly I’ve about 90% given up on hoping I can afford GB’s anymore.. so I’ll be sitting back and watching these until a pebble batch, but even those are climbing in price, so I minorly hope I can afford them, but not holding my breath…

November 14, 2015 at 4:48 am #937080YAY!! for garden dragons and for PYO Orientals!
I, too, will be sitting out this GB batch, as I don’t collect either Unis or Poads, so it’s good to know there’s some other stuff in the pipeline, too. 🙂
(Though if you wanted to do another batch of GB Sitting Red Foxes, down the road, I’d be there in a heartbeat! I don’t generally go for the non-fantasy sculpts, but this one has charmed me.)

Interested in buying or trading for: GB Pebble Sitting Red Fox in dark grey, Lap Dragon Test Paints (Water Sprite, Glacial Pearl, Opulence, Pastel Rainbow, and many others - see my Classifieds ad), Blue Morpho OW, GB Pebble Loaf dragons in blue/aqua/teal, and Griffin Test Paints (Black Rainbow or Frosted Jade).
November 14, 2015 at 9:14 am #937082Are there enough tanukis for another batch of naturals, red pandas or raccoons? Any chance the young unis could be released after Christmas or in the New Year? I have a feeling it will be hard for a lot of us to afford anything expensive with so many things to pay for before the holidays. There is no way I could save up enough money for even one until Jan. unless I can sell the stuff I have on ebay now.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
