Well my orange poad ad was showing as disabled and now it has disappeared completely so I don’t know what happened but it looks like someone deleted it and it wasn’t me.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
It seems that the “Search” function only looks in Melody’s Blog posts and in the store. I searched “2016” and got Blog posts, searched “pebble” and got Blog and Store items, and searched “schedule” and “schedule?” (as in “What’s next on the schedule?”) and got “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”.

It is simple if your photo site will give you links directly to the picture. I use flickr. On my phone, I select share -> copy URL. On my desktop, the selection under share is called something else, don’t recall what. But the URL will look something like http : // flic.kr/p/JEDJ7w, but without the spaces. Other photo sites may use other formats, but it has to start with http. If it gives you an https address, delete the ‘s’ – that seems to confuse the website. You can test pm me if you like.I just tested photobucket – select the address labeled “IMG”

Clay is out of his office this week, next week hopefully he can work on things again – he’s aware of the difficulties with email notices from the site and also that Melody is having difficulty posting to the forum. Someday we’ll get it all squared away!

By the way, the way I tested was by pm’ing myself. The system lets you do that. Just go to the “Compose” tab, and enter your username in the “Send To” entry box.

When you look at the Windstone Forum main page there still are links to those posts showing in Announcements, Repairs, General Art Discussion, Love Fuzzy, Non-Windstone Flea Market, and Swaps. At least one link is still active.

Yes, I have refreshed, reloaded, and logged off and back on again – the links are still showing. Maybe most people aren’t seeing them?
This link, which I see in the “Swaps” category, is still active and leads to several Spam posts at the end of the thread:
The other links I am still seeing give the 404 (Page Not Found) message.

OK – looks like we got another SPAMMER! Not sure that this one is a Bot or a live person trying to do some marketing on phone cases – offending forum name is ‘Windy’ who registered on 11/17. 🙁

Only the photos uploaded to this site show.Okay, I saw Kim’s ad showing linked pics, and looked at the source. It looks like it is the “a href=” tag that is not working anymore. Anything enclosed in that tag disappears. This also means I can’t include a link to someone else’s ad in mine. 🙁
I wish it wouldn’t keep changing what kind of links work! First, just entering the URL to the photo worked as long as it was http and not https. Then that stopped working, and I had to enclose the jpg URL in an IMG tag. Then that stopped working, and I had to switch to flickr’s “share” link, which was a shortcut URL. Now, that isn’t working, and I have to go back to the original “embed” link, but delete the “a href” tag from around the IMG tag.
