Oh, I forgot to mention…I watched Midsommar. It made me feel weird for days after seeing it. It is just disturbing. All of it. And not in an entertaining kinda way. It isnt one I’ll be watching again or recommending.

That movie was truly disturbing; at the end everything was quiet and I said out loud really loud so everyone could hear “GODDAMN!!!!” Everyone started to laugh!! I felt so dirty afterwards!! Hated it!

You should see The Black Coat’s Daughter. That was pretty good if you like demon possession movies. Very graphic but worth the watch. I DL it on iTunes. It starts off slow but it gets better. At the end your like WTF.

The chick from Midsommar redeems herself in Little Women which I saw with my mom. If you saw the original with Wynona Ryder it’s kind of the same, but not. It was a good movie and I would recommend it.

I DEFINITELY WANT TO SEE SONIC!!!!!!

Just finished the Haunting of Hill House on Netflix… I don’t quite know… what I thought of it. I mean.. it was good, had some creepy parts, but it was one of those series that bounced ALL over the place like a Tarantino film so you really had to pay attention to know what the hell was going on all the time. I feel like it was something that could have been told in a 2 hour movie instead of being milked through a 10 episode series BUT it wasn’t awful either. It was a little predictable at parts, but if you like stories about haunted houses and the more drama like quality of how being a child growing up in one can tear apart a family throughout there lives thru mental illness and denial even years later, then this one might be for you.

I really enjoyed it the first time. Once I knew who bent neck lady was, it kinda made me sad. I didnt feel the same way about it the second time around.

I gave the movie “Us” another chance. It was hella creepy!!

I haven’t seen the movie (and probably won’t), but I do know the Cole family that one of the directors married into, so I’m putting the word out. Proud father-in-law made sure that our community knew about it. 🙂 According to the message I got:

… our daughter-in-law Bridget’s first feature film has just debuted on Amazon Prime.

              “Blow the Man Down”

It won Best Screenplay at Tribeca, and just got a very positive review in today’s NY Times. It was made for a small fraction of the cost of the latest comic-book epic, and is a whole lot more intriguing, all the way to the last few seconds.
              Not for the kiddies.

Has anyone seen A Cure for Wellness? It’s on Prime …. good flick if you like the strange and unusual.

I See You was good too. Fresh, new thriller. Lots of twists.

Another good one, if you like cryptids, Dark was the Night.

There is a new anthology series based on the 1982 Creepshow, currently on Prime…also called Creepshow. “It’s still the most fun you’ll ever have being scared” with 12 mini movies that bring you right back to the 80’s. Sherry, I bet you’ll like it. My favourite is the one about the dollhouse.

Anyone else spending their free time in front of the tube?

                          I loved Creepshow.Wicked.
I like Westworld on HBO.That is a series you really must pay complete attention to or you will be saying “huh?”
DEVS on HULU is another good cerebral series.I like programs that make you think as it evolves.

Been watching “Witcher” on Netflix. What’s not to like? Henry Cavill is great as the monster hunter! Monsters, swords and socery, witches, elves, etc, etc. Definitely not a kids show, as there is requisite murder, mayhem, violence and nudity…

Always looking for a lovely GB Young Unicorns, TP Male Dragons or TP Male Griffins!
